Basic Elements is a duo composed by Esteban López and Salvatore Scarpa, DJs and producers who decide to start a project together when they meet in Barcelona. Since their union in 2016 they congenial their different tastes for Drum and Bass, they focus on perfecting their DJ sets with fast and energetic mixes and always trying to the fullest all the details to offer the best in their performances.
The same approach is contributing in their current productions to carry out their own style and become known in the music industry.
As of today they are very happy and motivated with their first release in Anticlockwise Music, a collaboration with Sanse within their EP along with other artists of the national scene.
At the end of 2017, they created DNB Meeting Point, one of the pioneering projects in Barcelona focused on promoting the Drum and Bass nationally and internationally with live sessions through the network and social media.The team is expanded shortly after its creation and thus the project is growing and, with it, more content. Today they are focused on organizing their own events.
During these four years they have had the pleasure of acting in different cities in Europe, where they have shared the stage with artists such as: DC Breaks, Deadline, Deekline, Disphonia, Fixate, Impak, Koherent, Kursiva, Revaux, Serial Killaz, The Prototypes , The Upbeats, ZeroZero and others.

Nacido en el 1992 (Barcelona), tubo contacto con la música electrónica desde muy joven gracias a su hermano mayor.
Con 18 años se compro una controladora y empezó a pinchar sus primeras sesiones. 

No tardo mucho en empezar a experimentar con Drum & Bass, concretamente el subgénero ¨Raggajungle¨. En poco tiempo empezó a pinchar en algunas salas como: Sarau, Mama Mandawa, Sala Upload, Sala Plataforma…

En 2015 conoció a Salvatore (NU:ID) en un evento de drum and bass, en ese momento nace una gran amistad y el duo Basic Elements.

Desde hace poco es miembro del colectivo Teuf Kulture, famosos por sus fiestas los jueves "drum & bass thursdays".

Actualmente esta entrando en el mundo de la producción musical.

Discovering DNB with Liquicity around 2011, he became a real fan after his first DNB party in December 2014 in Amsterdam for Liquicity@De Marktkantine.
Researcher by day, Super Junglist by night, since then he is travelling Europe to attend parties and festivals.
After moving from Pisa to Barcelona, the Frenchy joined the DNB Meeting Point collective, mainly as a photographer, but helped to make the scene grow in general.

And then the inevitable happened in 2019: he started to learn mixing, and already opened some nights in Barcelona with his liquid vibes, from soulful to dancefloor with some deeper sounds from time to time.

Back to France in 2021, he choose Toulouse mainly for its underground music culture.

He also often plays for Intermodal and Unbeatable Music, 2 collectives present on VRChat and Sansar, 2 VR platforms.
