La  raíz  de  su estilo  viene  de  la  fusión  de  elementos  específicos  de  varios  géneros  y  ritmos,  que interactúan  teniendo  como  base  el  house,  el  techno  y  el  mínimal,  convirtiéndose  en productora  y  coleccionista.    Adi  construye  y participa  de la  escena  nacional  (Billares Londres,  Baum,  Octava,  Calle  9+1  en  Medellín  entre  otros) trabajando  con  sellos  y fiestas  independientes  como  Low  to  High,  We  Love  Bogotá  Records,  Clase  de  Siete  y SneakPeak. Adi has made a name for herself thanks to the wide range of sounds selected in a smooth and spontaneous way, transmitting to the dancefloor all her passion and inspiration, which ends in an unforgettable encounter with music. 
Like vinyls as their preferred medium, the selection becomes more special and each set is filled with a unique and unrepeatable vibe, the present vibe.
Since she got to know the world of electronic music, She got involved in djing and digging, her talent and curiosity led her to participate with collectives and parties such as Green Room NY, Low to High (Co) and Clase de Siete (Co), becoming a usual suspect in the countries's scene. 
Now, after her last visit to The Old Continent she finds herself inspired more than ever, with an open mind and the desire to keep developing and nurturing her sound. That's how she gets involved in new initiatives, creating music spaces collectively in order to grow, gather and encourage new sounds, talents & music enthusiast.
She also dives into production and even though she considers getting deeper into it, her passion and love for digging and djing take more of her time and drive in the present.

Just a week before twenty four/seven Bogotá, licensing issues meant we were forced to turn the event on its head and run 8am-8am, rather than 4pm-4pm as we had originally planned. This left Adi and Polinne with an interesting predicament: what do you even play when the club opens at breakfast time? They settled on a blend of chilled hip hop and groovy house, which landed in the room perfectly with fruit and pastries.

With her DJing and creative project Automagicalley on hiatus, Adi’s 2020 has been home to a slower kind of alchemy - the creative processing of two years’ worth of musical sense impressions into the basic fact of a needle on a record.

Our dear Walrus tells the story best:

“Adi picked me up from El Dorado airport around Christmas 2018. I remember that moment stuck in a hot summer traffic jam, both of us laughing at the rattling from the trunk of her dad’s car - good ears! That evening we played outside under a lemon tree at one of the first Automagicalley events, a wonderful b2b full of curiosity and honesty about art, spirituality and life. Fast forward through some Europe trips - of course including a Basic Moves party - and we arrive at this mini album. The fruit of half a year of friendly exchange between Adi, me and our magical mix engineer Chris ‘Funk’ Ferreira, it reveals Adi’s authentic spirit - always moving, forever creating and endlessly believing.”

Adi herself explains the many emotions and headspaces influencing her process: the self-reflective loop of lockdown, the ebb and flow of working alone and with others, the despair of conflict and endings, the dizzy optimism of a Don Cherry album. Now these feeling-frequencies can be heard even louder around the globe.

All music written and produced by ADI in Bogota/Colombia and Lima/Peru from 2018 and finished during winter, spring and summer of 2020. Mixed and post-produced by Chris “funk” Ferreira in Brussels/Belgium. Mastered by Stefan Betke at Scape Berlin. Brought to you by Crevette Distribution Brussels/Belgium. Theories is a Colombian visual artist and music collector with a wide selection of sounds ranging from ambient, leftfield, techno, electro, industrial to drum and bass. She is DJing since 2013. In the mix she did for us, every second shows the deep knowledge she has gained since then in regards to selecting the unusual. For Metamorphosen she created an ice-cool mix, where sliding through all kinds of genres and speeds sounds like the most natural thing in the world.
With her project @automagicalley, theories creates spaces to spread alternative forms of live music and art in Bogotá, making this big city an even more diverse and inspirational place for weirdo connoisseurs.
