Músico, productor, dj y promotor de la cultura urbana en Guatemala. Con 16 años en la escena musical alternativa, basico3 ha sido promotor de tres de los movimientos musicales contemporaneos más importantes de Guatemala. En los 90’s fueron los raves underground, que abrieron espacio a la Dance Music y música electrónica. Luego, organizando eventos y produciendo grupos que sacaron de los barrios la cultura hip hop en el país. Y lo más reciente es el éxito masivo de basico3 como cerebro principal del movimiento de la Nueva Cumbia en Guatemala con el afamado
#miercolesdecumbia, el cual no sólo se ha convertido en un hito musical sino de comunicación por las redes sociales.
basico3 cuenta ya con una trayectoria internacional, ya que ha participado como productor musical de películas y como dj en diversos países, donde se le conoce como embajador del nuevo sonido regional o techno-folclore para su país. Ha compartido escenarios con artistas como Pato Machete, Toy Selectah, Astros de Mendoza, Morenito de Fuego, Don Omar y Natalia LaFourcade. Ha sido conferencista de redes globales como TedEx y artista
invitado en diversos eventos culturales y festivales musicales internacionales. A nivel local, basico3 ha sido parte integral de bandas locales como Malacates Trebol Shop y Tijuana Love y ctualmente se encuentra produciendo artistas para su propia disquera “La Phonoptica Stereo” especialmente en Hip Hop, Nueva Cumbia, Electrónica y Folclor.
