ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੋ ਮੇਰੁ ਪਰਬਤੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਓਟ ਗਹੀ ਮੈ ਤੇਰੀ ॥
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ (ਹੀ) ਮੇਰਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈਂ । ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਹੀ ਓਟ ਫੜੀ ਹੈ (ਕਿਸੇ ਤੀਰਥ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੱਸਣ ਦਾ ਤਕੀਆ ਮੈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਤੱਕਿਆ) ਤੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਅਡੋਲ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ 
You are my Sumayr Mountain, O my Lord and Master; I have grasped Your Support.

ਨਾ ਤੁਮ ਡੋਲਹੁ ਨਾ ਹਮ ਗਿਰਤੇ ਰਖਿ ਲੀਨੀ ਹਰਿ ਮੇਰੀ ॥੧॥
(ਤੇਰਾ ਲੜ ਫੜ ਕੇ) ਮੈਂ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਡੋਲਦਾ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਮੇਰੀ ਲਾਜ ਰੱਖ ਲਈ ਹੈ ।੧।
You do not shake, and I do not fall. You have preserved my honor. ||1||

ਅਬ ਤਬ ਜਬ ਕਬ ਤੁਹੀ ਤੁਹੀ ॥
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਹੈਂ ।
Now and then, here and there, You, only You.

ਹਮ ਤੁਅ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ ਸੁਖੀ ਸਦ ਹੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਤੇਰੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਸੁਖੀ ਹਾਂ ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ।
By Your Grace, I am forever in peace. ||1||Pause||

ਤੋਰੇ ਭਰੋਸੇ ਮਗਹਰ ਬਸਿਓ ਮੇਰੇ ਤਨ ਕੀ ਤਪਤਿ ਬੁਝਾਈ ॥
(ਲੋਕ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਮਗਹਰ ਸਰਾਪੀ ਹੋਈ ਧਰਤੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ) ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਧਾਰ ਕੇ ਮਗਹਰ ਜਾ ਵੱਸਿਆ, (ਤੂੰ ਮਿਹਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਤੇ) ਮੇਰੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਦੀ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ) ਤਪਸ਼ (ਮਗਹਰ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ) ਬੁਝਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ।
Relying upon You, I can live even in the cursed place of Magahar; You have put out the fire of my body.

ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਮਗਹਰ ਪਾਇਓ ਫੁਨਿ ਕਾਸੀ ਬਸੇ ਆਈ ॥੨॥
ਮੈਂ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰਾ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮਗਹਰ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਤੇ ਫੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਕਾਸ਼ੀ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਵੱਸਿਆ ।੨।
First, I obtained the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan in Magahar; then, I came to dwell at Benares. ||2||

ਜੈਸਾ ਮਗਹਰੁ ਤੈਸੀ ਕਾਸੀ ਹਮ ਏਕੈ ਕਰਿ ਜਾਨੀ ॥
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੰਗਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਧਨ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਏ, (ਤਿਵੇਂ) ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕੰਗਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਧਨ ਮਿਲ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਮੈਂ ਮਗਹਰ ਤੇ ਕਾਸ਼ੀ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਹੈ ।
As is Magahar, so is Benares; I see them as one and the same.

ਹਮ ਨਿਰਧਨ ਜਿਉ ਇਹੁ ਧਨੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਮਰਤੇ ਫੂਟਿ ਗੁਮਾਨੀ ॥੩॥
ਪਰ (ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਸ਼ੀ ਤੀਰਥ ਤੇ ਵੱਸਣ ਦਾ ਮਾਣ ਹੈ ਉਹ) ਹੰਕਾਰੀ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਦੁੱਖੀ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ।੩।
I am poor, but I have obtained this wealth of the Lord; the proud are bursting with pride, and die. ||3||

ਕਰੈ ਗੁਮਾਨੁ ਚੁਭਹਿ ਤਿਸੁ ਸੂਲਾ ਕੋ ਕਾਢਨ ਕਉ ਨਾਹੀ ॥
ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮਾਣ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਮਾਣ ਚਾਹੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਗੱਲ ਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ) ਉਸ ਨੂੰ (ਇਉਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ) ਸੂਲਾਂ ਚੁੱਭਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ । ਕੋਈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਹ ਸੂਲਾਂ ਪੁੱਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ ।
One who takes pride in himself is stuck with thorns; no one can pull them out.

ਅਜੈ ਸੁ ਚੋਭ ਕਉ ਬਿਲਲ ਬਿਲਾਤੇ ਨਰਕੇ ਘੋਰ ਪਚਾਹੀ ॥੪॥
ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ (ਉਹ ਹੰਕਾਰੀ) ਉਹਨਾਂ ਚੋਭਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਵਿਲਕਦੇ ਹਨ, ਮਾਨੋ, ਘੋਰ ਨਰਕ ਵਿਚ ਸੜ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ।੪।
Here, he cries bitterly, and hereafter, he burns in the most hideous hell. ||4||

ਕਵਨੁ ਨਰਕੁ ਕਿਆ ਸੁਰਗੁ ਬਿਚਾਰਾ ਸੰਤਨ ਦੋਊ ਰਾਦੇ ॥
(ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਕਾਸ਼ੀ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੁਰਗ ਮਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ) ਨਰਕ ਕੀਹ, ਤੇ, ਵਿਚਾਰਾ ਸੁਰਗ ਕੀਹ? ਸੰਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਰੱਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ;
What is hell, and what is heaven? The Saints reject them both.

ਹਮ ਕਾਹੂ ਕੀ ਕਾਣਿ ਨ ਕਢਤੇ ਅਪਨੇ ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੇ ॥੫॥
ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸੰਤ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ (ਨਾਹ ਸੁਰਗ ਤੇ ਨਾਹ ਨਰਕ) ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇ ਭੀ ਮੁਥਾਜ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ ।੫।
I have no obligation to either of them, by the Grace of my Guru. ||5||

ਅਬ ਤਉ ਜਾਇ ਚਢੇ ਸਿੰਘਾਸਨਿ ਮਿਲੇ ਹੈ ਸਾਰਿੰਗਪਾਨੀ ॥
(ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ) ਮੈਂ ਹੁਣ ਉੱਚੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਟਿਕਾਣੇ ਤੇ ਅੱਪੜ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਮਿਲ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ ।
Now, I have mounted to the throne of the Lord; I have met the Lord, the Sustainer of the World.

ਰਾਮ ਕਬੀਰਾ ਏਕ ਭਏ ਹੈ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਸਕੈ ਪਛਾਨੀ ॥੬॥੩॥
ਮੈਂ ਕਬੀਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਰਾਮ ਇੱਕ-ਰੂਪ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਾਂ, ਕੋਈ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿਚ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਨਹੀ ਦੱਸ ਸਕਦਾ ।੬।੩।
The Lord and Kabeer have become one. No one can tell them apart. ||6||3||

ਸੋਧ ਹਾਰੇ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਬਿਰੋਧ ਹਾਰੇ ਦਾਨੋ ਬਡੇ ਬੋਧ ਹਾਰੇ ਬੋਧਕ ਪ੍ਰਬੋਧ ਹਾਰੇ ਜਾਪਸੀ ॥
The gods got weary of making offerings of fragrances, the antagonistic demons have got weary, he knowledgeable sages have got weary and worshippers of good understanding have also got weary.

ਘਸ ਹਾਰੇ ਚੰਦਨ ਲਗਾਇ ਹਾਰੇ ਚੋਆ ਚਾਰੁ ਪੂਜ ਹਾਰੇ ਪਾਹਨ ਚਢਾਇ ਹਾਰੇ ਲਾਪਸੀ ॥
Those who rub sandalwood have got tired, the appliers of fine scent (otto) have got tired, the image-worshippers have got tired and those making offerings of sweet curry, have also got tired.

ਗਾਹ ਹਾਰੇ ਗੋਰਨ ਮਨਾਇ ਹਾਰੇ ਮੜ੍ਹੀ ਮੱਟ ਲੀਪ ਹਾਰੇ ਭੀਤਨ ਲਗਾਇ ਹਾਰੇ ਛਾਪਸੀ ॥
The visitors of graveyards have got tired, the worshippers of hermitages and monuments have got tired those who besmear the walls images have got tired and those who print with embossing seal have also got tired.

ਗਾਇ ਹਾਰੇ ਗੰਧ੍ਰਬ ਬਜਾਏ ਹਾਰੇ ਕਿੰਨਰ ਸਭ ਪਚ ਹਾਰੇ ਪੰਡਤ ਤਪੰਤ ਹਾਰੇ ਤਾਪਸੀ ॥੨੦॥੯੦॥
Gandharvas, the musicians of goods have got tired, Kinnars, the players of musical instruments have got tired, the Pundits have got highly weary and the ascetics observing austerities have also got tired. None of the above-mentioned people have been able

That stone idol, for which you tear off those leaves - that stone idol is lifeless. ||1||

ਭੂਲੀ ਮਾਲਨੀ ਹੈ ਏਉ ॥
In this, you are mistaken, O gardener.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਜਾਗਤਾ ਹੈ ਦੇਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ਕਹਾ ਭਯੋ ਜੋ ਦੋਊ ਲੋਚਨ ਮੂੰਦ ਕੈ ਬੈਠਿ ਰਹਿਓ ਬਕ ਧਿਆਨ ਲਗਾਇਓ ॥
Of what use it is if one sits and meditates like a crane with his eyes closed.

ਨ੍ਹਾਤ ਫਿਰਿਓ ਲੀਏ ਸਾਤ ਸਮੁਦ੍ਰਨਿ ਲੋਕ ਗਯੋ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਗਵਾਇਓ ॥
If he takes bath at holy places upto the seventh sea, he loses this world and also the next world.

ਬਾਸ ਕੀਓ ਬਿਖਿਆਨ ਸੋਂ ਬੈਠ ਕੈ ਐਸੇ ਹੀ ਐਸੇ ਸੁ ਬੈਸ ਬਿਤਾਇਓ ॥
He spends his life in such performing evil actions and wastes his life in such pursuits.

ਸਾਚੁ ਕਹੋਂ ਸੁਨ ਲੇਹੁ ਸਭੈ ਜਿਨ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕੀਓ ਤਿਨ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਾਇਓ ॥੯॥੨੯॥
I speak Truth, all should turn their ears towards it: he, who is absorbed in True Love, he would realize the Lord. 9.29.

ਕਾਹੂ ਲੈ ਪਾਹਨ ਪੂਜ ਧਰਯੋ ਸਿਰ ਕਾਹੂ ਲੈ ਲਿੰਗੁ ਗਰੇ ਲਟਕਾਇਓ ॥
Someone worshipped stone and placed it on his head. Someone hung the phallus (lingam) from his neck.

ਕਾਹੂ ਲਖਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਅਵਾਚੀ ਦਿਸਾ ਮਹਿ ਕਾਹੂ ਪਛਾਹ ਕੋ ਸੀਸੁ ਨਿਵਾਇਓ ॥
Someone visualized God in the South and someone bowed his head towards the West.

ਕੋਊ ਬੁਤਾਨ ਕੋ ਪੂਜਤ ਹੈ ਪਸੁ ਕੋਊ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਾਨ ਕੋ ਪੂਜਨ ਧਾਇਓ ॥
Some fool worships the idols and someone goes to worship the dead.

ਕੂਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਉਰਝਿਓ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਜਗ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਕੋ ਭੇਦੁ ਨ ਪਾਇਓ ॥੧੦॥੩੦॥
The whole world is entangled in false rituals and has not known the secret of Lord-God 10.30.

ਦੇਹਰਾ ਮਸੀਤ ਸੋਈ ਪੂਜਾ ਔ ਨਿਵਾਜ ਓਈ ਮਾਨਸ ਸਬੈ ਏਕ ਪੈ ਅਨੇਕ ਕੋ ਭ੍ਰਮਾਉ ਹੈ ॥
The temple and the mosque are the same, there is no difference between a Hindu worship and Muslim prayer all the human beings are the same, but the illusion is of various types.

ਦੇਵਤਾ ਅਦੇਵ ਜੱਛ ਗੰਧ੍ਰਬ ਤੁਰਕ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਨਿਆਰੇ ਨਿਆਰੇ ਦੇਸਨ ਕੇ ਭੇਸ ਕੋ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਉ ਹੈ ॥
The gods, demons, Yakshas, Gandharvas, Turks and Hindus… all these are due to the differences of the various garbs of different countries.

ਏਕੈ ਨੈਨ ਏਕੈ ਕਾਨ ਏਕੈ ਦੇਹ ਏਕੈ ਬਾਨ ਖਾਕ ਬਾਦ ਆਤਸ ਔ ਆਬ ਕੋ ਰਲਾਉ ਹੈ ॥
The eyes are the same, the ears the same, the bodies are the same and the habits are the same, all the creation is the amalgam of earth, air, fire and water.

ਅਲਹ ਅਭੇਖ ਸੋਈ ਪੁਰਾਨ ਔ ਕੁਰਾਨ ਓਈ ਏਕ ਹੀ ਸਰੂਪ ਸਭੈ ਏਕ ਹੀ ਬਨਾਉ ਹੈ ॥੧੬॥੮੬॥
Allah of Muslims and Abhekh (Guiseless) of Hindus are the same, the Puranas of Hindus and the holy Quran of the Muslims depict the same reality all have been created in the image of the same Lord and have the same formation. 16.86.
