ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਮਿਠ ਬੋਲੜਾ ਜੀ ਹਰਿ ਸਜਣੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮੋਰਾ ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਿੱਠੇ ਬੋਲ ਬੋਲਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਹੈ । 
My Dear Lord and Master, my Friend, speaks so sweetly.

ਹਉ ਸੰਮਲਿ ਥਕੀ ਜੀ ਓਹੁ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਬੋਲੈ ਕਉਰਾ ॥
ਮੈਂ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਥੱਕ ਗਈ ਹਾਂ (ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕਦੇ ਕੌੜਾ ਬੋਲ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਯਾਦ ਆ ਜਾਏ, ਪਰ) ਉਹ ਕਦੇ ਭੀ ਕੌੜਾ ਬੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੋਲਦਾ ।
I have grown weary of testing Him, but still, He never speaks harshly to me.

ਕਉੜਾ ਬੋਲਿ ਨ ਜਾਨੈ ਪੂਰਨ ਭਗਵਾਨੈ ਅਉਗਣੁ ਕੋ ਨ ਚਿਤਾਰੇ ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਕੌੜਾ (ਖਰਵਾ) ਬੋਲਣਾ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਾਡਾ) ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਔਗੁਣ ਚੇਤੇ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦਾ ।
He does not know any bitter words; the Perfect Lord God does not even consider my faults and demerits.

ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਬਿਰਦੁ ਸਦਾਏ ਇਕੁ ਤਿਲੁ ਨਹੀ ਭੰਨੈ ਘਾਲੇ ॥
ਉਹ ਵਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ—ਇਹ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਢ-ਕਦੀਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੁਭਾਉ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਭੀ) ਕੀਤੀ ਘਾਲ-ਕਮਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਰਤਾ ਭਰ ਭੀ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਦੇਂਦਾ ।
It is the Lord's natural way to purify sinners; He does not overlook even an iota of service.

ਘਟ ਘਟ ਵਾਸੀ ਸਰਬ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ ਨੇਰੈ ਹੀ ਤੇ ਨੇਰਾ ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮੇਰਾ ਸੱਜਣ ਹਰੇਕ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ ਦੇ ਅੱਤ ਨੇੜੇ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ।
He dwells in each and every heart, pervading everywhere; He is the nearest of the near.

ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸੁ ਸਦਾ ਸਰਣਾਗਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਸਜਣੁ ਮੇਰਾ ॥੧॥
ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦਾ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ । ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮੇਰਾ ਸੱਜਣ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ।੧।

Sangat ji,

As a continued part of Jagraj Singh's mission, we aim to teach and share Guru Nanak's divine message in as many languages as possible. Here, one of our India sevadaars explains the Mool Mantar in Hindi.

हमने देखा कि बहुत लोग जिन्हें पंजाबी और इंग्लिश कम समझ आती है वे गुरद्वारे दर्शन करते हैं और उन्हें वहाँ जाकर बहुत शांति मिलती है और अध्यात्मिक वातावरण का आनंद प्राप्त होता है। परंतु कथा वीचार ज्यादातर पंजाबी में होने के कारण उन्हें गुरु नानक देव जी का इश्वरीय ज्ञान पूरी तरह समझ नही आ पाता । तो इसलिए बेसिक्स ऑफ सीखी ने हिंदी वीडियोस का प्रोजेक्ट शुरू किया है । इस प्रोजेक्ट के द्वारा गुरमत सिद्धांत और आध्यात्मिक ज्ञान दर्शको को हिंदी में बताने का प्रयास करेंगे। ये पृथम वीडियो गुरु नानक देव जी द्वारा उचारण किये गए मूल मंत्र  जी के विषय में विचार करने का प्रयास है। हमें उम्मीद है कि सभी दर्शक इस वीडियो को पसंद करेंगे अथवा इससे अपने जीवन में लाभ उठाएंगे।

We noticed that many who are not so versed with Punjabi and English visit the Gurdwaras and find an atmosphere peaceful gives them spiritual bliss. However, they aren't able to gain the divine wisdom of Guru Nanak because the Katha (discourse) are mostly in Punjabi. So, Basics of Sikhi has started to produce videos in Hindi to spread the Guru Ji's philosophy and spiritual wisdom. This is the first video in Hindi which described the Mool Mantar given by Guru Nanak Dev Ji. We hope that all the viewers will like it and find the video beneficial.

इस श्रृंखला में हम गुरु नानक देव जी द्वारा पूरी मानव जाति के लिए  दीए गए दैवीय ज्ञान "श्री जपजी साहिब"  का विचार करते हैं। यह बाणी श्री गुरु ग्रंथ साहिब जी की शुरुआत है और गुरु के शब्दों और शिक्षाओं में पूर्ण अंतर्दृष्टि प्रदान करती है ।
इस पहली पौरी में, गुरु साहिब भगवान से मिलने के लिए प्राचीन काल से विभिन्न संप्रदायों और धर्मों के लोगों द्वारा अपनाई गई  तरीकों और तकनीकों को खारिज करते हैं और भगवान से मिलने के लिए सही, प्रभावी तरीका भी बताते हैं।

In this series, Kamalpreet Singh in Hindi will share and explain the divine wisdom revealed by Guru Nanak Dev Ji in Sri Japji Sahib, the first Sikh prayer recited daily. This Bani (Guru’s words) is at the beginning of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji (Sikh holy scriptures) and provides a perfect insight into the teachings of the Guru.

In this first pauri (stanza), Guru Sahib starts by dismissing the futile ways and techniques adopted by the people of various sects and religions to meet God and also reveals the true, effective way to become one with Vaheguru (Wondrous Enlightener God).

#1 भगवान को कैसे मिलें? (How Can You Meet God?) - Japji Sahib Hindi Katha (Pauri 1)

दूसरी पौड़ी में हुकम (दिव्य कानून) की अवधारणा के बाद, जपजी साहिब की इस तीसरी पौड़ी में, कमलप्रीत सिंह हुकमी के बारे में बताते हैं, जो हुकम बनाता है और जारी करता है। विभिन्न तरीके जिसके साथ लोग उसे याद करते हैं, पर भी चर्चा की जाती है। केवल भगवान ही अपनी अनंतता पर चिंतन का कारण बन सकते हैं। वाहिगुरु असीम हैं और इसलिए उसकी महिमा भी असीम है।
 
Following the concept of Hukam (divine law) in second pauri, in this third Pauri (stanza) of Japji Sahib, Kamalpreet Singh explains about the Hukami, the one who creates and issues Hukam. The various perspectives with which people remember him are also discussed. Only Vaheguru (Wondrous Enlightener God) themselves can cause a being to contemplate upon the infinitude of Their glories. Vaheguru (Hukami) is limitless and so are his glories.

#3 Pauri 3 - गावै को ताणु - Japji Sahib Hindi Katha

श्री जपजी साहिब की इस चौथी पौड़ी में कमलप्रीत सिंह भगवान जी की कृपा और प्रेम पात्र होने की विधि बताते हैं। अमृतवेले में (1 पहर सूर्योदय होने से पहले) नाम सिमरन, गुरबाणी का पाठ व कीर्तन। यह कृपा की प्राप्ति का मार्ग है जिससे ब्रह्म और जीव की एकता का एहसास होता है। भगवान और गुरु की कृपा से ही सच्चा मोक्ष प्राप्त हो सकता है।

In this fourth pauri (stanza) of Sri Japji Sahib, Kamalpreet Singh explains the way to receive Vaheguru Ji’s (God’s) grace and love. This method given by Guru Nanak Dev Ji of Amrit Vela (rising before sunrise) and meditating is also the criteria for qualifying as a Sikh of the Guru. This is the way to attain the glance of grace and realise Oneness. It is by grace of Vaheguru that Mokh (liberation) can be achieved.

#4 भगवान का प्रेम कैसे प्राप्त हो? (How To Receive God’s Love) - Japji Sahib Hindi Katha (Pauri 4)

श्री जपजी साहिब की पांचवीं पौड़ी में, कमलप्रीत सिंह गुरबाणी कीर्तन का वर्णन करते हैं और गुरुमंत्र पर एकाग्रता के साथ ध्यान लगाने के विषय मे बताते हैं, ऐसा करने से मन भगवान के भाव (प्रेम) में लीन हो जाता है। यह मन की शांति पाने का तरीका है। गुरु सर्वोच्च है और गुरु के उपदेशों का पालन करते हुए गुरसिखों को अविरल दिव्य संगीत सुनाई देता है, ब्रह्म ज्ञान के उच्च स्थानों को प्राप्त करते हैं और वाहेगुरु के साथ विलीन हो जाते हैं।

In the fifth pauri (stanza) of Sri Japji Sahib, Kamalpreet Singh describes  how through meditation and singing of Vaheguru’s praises with concentration, the mind is absorbed in the Bhao (love) of Vaheguru. This is the way to attain eternal peace of mind. The Guru is supreme and by following the teachings of the Guru in this way, the Gursikh can hear the Anhad Naad (unstruck divine music), attaining the highest realms of wisdom ultimately merging with Vaheguru.
