TWGC Topic #7 Part A - Khalsa - What Happened In 1699?

Join us on www.facebook.com/WhyGuruCourse. This is a new initiative by www.everythings13.org, the parent charity of this "Basics of Sikh" youtube channel. They WhyGuru Course is an introductory course to Sikhi spread out over 12 topics. The pilot course delivered in summer 2012 was a success and it is being rolled out to the Sangat. The course objectives are:
- Explore the lives, writings and social revolution led by the 10 human Gurus.
- Understand Guru's mystical teachings for achieving oneness with the Divine.
- Introduce Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji, their  structure, common prayers, and the raag/taal musical tradition. 
- To get a grasp of the Khalsa collective and Sikh history from 1700 onwards. 
- Explore through discussion, the relevance of the Gurus to us and the world.
