Sri Sukhmani Sahib, is known as the prayer of bringing peace and happiness. A very famous prayer that many Sikhs and Non Sikhs are familiar with.

Everything that we gain in our lives, good or bad, is with Their grace. Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji opens our eyes to many of the things we take for granted! The tasty food we fill our bellies with, the nice clothes we can wear, the comfortable beds we sleep in and the different scents we put on our bodies.⁠

It’s not to say we can’t have these luxuries and pleasures, but Guru Ji emphasises that don’t forget the one that has bestowed all these gifts upon us. By enshrining Their name in our hearts, Guru Ji says there is no pleasure equal to this, so let us try and experience this! ⁠
