Every musician has his technics when we have a lack of inspiration. Personally, I always thought that music comes from silence, so when I can't make any music, I find a quiet place, sit down, and wait for the music to come to me. I did that once, in my garden, and then those tiny bells appeared. When I heard it perfectly, I ran to my studio to write it down. It reminded me of a snowflake's purity by his sonority, and it's way to dance with the wind by his groove. "Flocon de Neige" was born… I hope you will like it !"

Some of you already know that I'm a big lover of Movie Soundtracks. I really like those punchy violins that you can hear in some action movies, so I decided to try to make some. Basic Straight Beard was born in the south in France in 1991. He grew up listening Rock n' Roll, from psychedelic rock to strong metal, trough punk and stoner rock, but also old school hip-hop and roots reggae. He taught himself to play guitar and lives for music since his teenage years.
Now, he loves to go on a techno way ; melodic, raw and energetic, under the influence of artists like Dusty Kid, Extrawelt, Derrick May, Trentemoller, Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, Marylin Manson, Iggy Pop, Led Zeppelin, Nas or the Wu-Tang Clan.
As a member of the Oxygène collective, he has organized, with his friends, parties focused on electronic music and good vibes, from 2012 to 2016 to which came the local youth, and even more.
He’s currently living in Montpellier and devotes his time to live music, shaping his own style, track after track.
