Newly launched Dutch electro label LDI Records follows up their first release from T/Error with a deep and dark four track EP by French producer Franck Kartell.

In a homage to masterful science fiction writer Philip K Dick - Side A of Electric Sheep EP evokes scenes from future mechanised worlds. Electric Sheep kicks the 12” off with a melancholic and contemplative moment followed by a steel cold and brooding venture in Voigt-Kampff.

On the B side of this release, there is a live mix of Kartell's track Electro Music, a futuristic electro work out with kicks for the dancefloor. The EP completes with Victoria - an ode to the electronic musician Victoria Lukas who passed away in 2020 - with a beautifully poised and contemplative track steeped in synths.

Franck Kartell is a French producer who has releases on Between Places, Transient Force, Ukonx Recordings, New Flesh, Bass Agenda and others. Since 2005 he has been producing well thought-out electro music filled with dark atmospheres and driving rhythms.

Specialising in moody, atmospheric electro, LDI Records (Lloyd’s Dark Imperium) are an essential label to watch. Distributed worldwide by Clone Distribution, while the Dutch label’s main focus is on vinyl releases, available in selected record shops across the globe, releases will also be available digitally.

Known for his diverse output spanning house, breaks, and techno, Ranj’s version pushes the track into a more dancefloor-focused direction without losing its dreamy essence. With past releases on labels like Capital Heaven and Hooj Choons, and support from names like John Digweed and Hernán Cattaneo, Ranj’s remix keeps things rolling with just the right amount of lift.

For this 24th Premiere of 2021, we have a track by the Electronic music producer based in Rome, Italy "T/Error" (aka Bob Arctor) entitled ‘Gravitational Field’ from the first release "Rindler Horizon" LP [LDI001] on the Dutch newcomer label : LDI Records.

LDI Records is a Dutch record label specialized in moody, dark and atmospheric electro. The name comes from the abbreviation of Lloyd’s Dark Imperium.
The label was created in 2021 by Erik Griffioen aka Lloyd Stellar with a focus on vinyl (Clone Distribution), but LDI will also be represented in the digital world.

T/Error steps up with the incredible Rindler Horizon LP. A project focussed on experimentation
and research within electro with releases on the likes of Bass Agenda, Electro Records,
Stilleben and many more, now T/Error dives deep into explorations of present and future
dystopia, digging the through dark depths of human vs. machine behaviour.

The Rindler Horizon is a hypothetical zone over the light speed, where time and space take on
a different meaning than we know. An enigmatic place where any physical exchange of
information beyond the line is impossible, all tracks on Rindler Horizon LP are set there.
Brought to life across 7 tracks spanning brooding, introspective and glitchy electro, other-worldly
ambient and pacey, anxious sounds, Rindler Horizon soundtracks an extra-terrestrial
experience.
