Hailing from Sydney's Northern Beaches, 23 y/o concept rapper Baskiat (who also plays sax and produces his own beats) combines elements of Future Electronica with jazz orchestration to create the Hip-Hop Opera, or "Hip-Hopera" of his debut album "Sophisticated Fiending."

In 2012 he released his first single "Wisdom," co-produced by Flume, to a great reception online and rotation on Triple J. Since then he has expanded as an artist, performing regularly throughout Sydney as both a solo act and with Golden Island Collective, consisting of:

Baski also performs regularly with the hella dope psychedelic reggae fusion rock band Little Coyote:

The young poet is now working with Australian Hip Hop pioneer DJ A$K and the aforementioned artists on several upcoming projects scheduled for release throughout 2015.
