By now we have become used to sudden changes of direction; but we’d already gathered his real intentions following the popular remix of “Lonely Stars In Open Skies” on All Day I Dream with which Luca jump started 2014.

Now OVO, the eagerly awaited new Luca Bacchetti EP, is here!

With this work on his ENDLESS imprint, Luca seems to be delineating a new soundscape, maintaining the psychedelia he introduced into his productions a few years ago; but now more synthetic and in some ways even minimalist.
In OVO we can find a brace of dancefloor tracks, No Gravity and The Space Between Us, that maintain and harness Luca's emotional and intricate atmospheres whilst also employing powerful sounds and elements that embrace the movement of the body. Mature, emotional Techno, where ethereal dream-like atmospheres find a singular expression and their own distinct identity. It is no coincidence that the whole EP was recorded entirely high up in the Tosco Emiliano Apennines: a place where, for Luca, Nature is the element that most influences this new aural pathway. As he himself states: “It’s this contrast between isolated lands and the chaos of the big city that produces this state of being: a new dialogue. They are two worlds which overlap within my soul: when I’m in New York I think of these mountains and when I’m here I think of the bustle of tour life .. but it’s up here that I find the seed, in this case OVO.”

The beautiful ambient masterpiece, OVO, was recorded in December 2013 and features Stefano Onorati, jazz musician and long time friend of Luca. The 15 minute opus was then finished in April 2014 and now sees its unveiling.

Cid Inc and Darin Epsilon team up for a rare collaboration on Darin’s influential label Perspectives. The track has been a staple in both their sets as well as long-time supporters Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo, the latter of which featured ‘Outliers’ in his September Top 10 and Resident radio show.

The original is a powerful slab of tastiness. Its ballsy vibe creates tension as subtle acidic lines meet spacious melodics, gelling beautifully to create a seriously cool atmosphere. The track builds, encapsulating the listener in its magical spell, toughening throughout and making this a surefire monster for the dancefloor.

On remix duties is the uber cool Petar Dundov, who makes intelligent electronic music that breaks boundaries, moves feet, and twists minds. He is without a doubt one of the most inspiring, original, and daring producers in electronica. With the likes of Sven Vath, Laurent Garnier, Adam Beyer, Josh Wink, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, and Danny Tenaglia amongst his fans, it would be hard to disagree.

His rework utilizes the original elements and forms an encapsulating soundscape. Petar allows the sounds to dominate their own space and develops the tension superbly as it glides you effortlessly into a driving workout.

Also adding to this package further down the line, Perspectives will be running its first ever remix contest for aspiring producers around the world to compete for a chance at signing with North America’s premier label for Progressive House, Deep House, and Tech House. The winner will have the prestigious honor of releasing his/her winning remix alongside three world renowned producers.

Making their 2019 full release debut for Sudbeat are the dynamic duo of Gabriel Rocha & Juan Carlos Villalba, better known as Tiefstone. Theirs is a story that involves deep beats, alluring melodies and large helpings of funk. Breaking into the scene in 2015, their rise has been exponential with tracks already signed to Saved Records, Bedrock and two appearances on the Showcrates series.

In its original form, ‘Lestat’ is a powerful, deep synth-led progger. On a bed of crisp percussive rhythms, a repeating phrase running throughout intertwines with pads and sonics to weave a personal journey towards the stratosphere. On remix duties, Rick Pier O’Neil takes us down a darker, ethereal path towards the earlier hours of the morning while label manager Graziano Raffa turns in a lighter, xylophone-led version filled with warm, summery feels.
