By now we have become used to sudden changes of direction; but we’d already gathered his real intentions following the popular remix of “Lonely Stars In Open Skies” on All Day I Dream with which Luca jump started 2014.

Now OVO, the eagerly awaited new Luca Bacchetti EP, is here!

With this work on his ENDLESS imprint, Luca seems to be delineating a new soundscape, maintaining the psychedelia he introduced into his productions a few years ago; but now more synthetic and in some ways even minimalist.
In OVO we can find a brace of dancefloor tracks, No Gravity and The Space Between Us, that maintain and harness Luca's emotional and intricate atmospheres whilst also employing powerful sounds and elements that embrace the movement of the body. Mature, emotional Techno, where ethereal dream-like atmospheres find a singular expression and their own distinct identity. It is no coincidence that the whole EP was recorded entirely high up in the Tosco Emiliano Apennines: a place where, for Luca, Nature is the element that most influences this new aural pathway. As he himself states: “It’s this contrast between isolated lands and the chaos of the big city that produces this state of being: a new dialogue. They are two worlds which overlap within my soul: when I’m in New York I think of these mountains and when I’m here I think of the bustle of tour life .. but it’s up here that I find the seed, in this case OVO.”

The beautiful ambient masterpiece, OVO, was recorded in December 2013 and features Stefano Onorati, jazz musician and long time friend of Luca. The 15 minute opus was then finished in April 2014 and now sees its unveiling.

Next up on the on fire Lauter Unfug is a production from the very talented producer from Luxembourg “Packo Gualandris”. Packo has long been turning out killer underground tunes on his own ok as well as many others. He counts many Artists as fans who play his tunes, while  

this Luxembourgish lion has more than a decade's experience of laying down essential grooves from a wide range of labels. Completely Dangerous is his EP and is ten tantalising minutes of house music with magical melodies. They hang in the air above the drums and bring raw colour and spine tingling emotions to the slick groove. Textured chords add to the overall effect and it's easy to see this one really make an impact in the club. The rework is more angsty and driven, upping the tempo and speeding up the arpeggios so that the whole thing has urgency.  
2 absolutely floorshaking Remixes from Lily Pita and Betoko, this EP is a perfect way to end the year for Lauter Unfug.

Making their 2019 full release debut for Sudbeat are the dynamic duo of Gabriel Rocha & Juan Carlos Villalba, better known as Tiefstone. Theirs is a story that involves deep beats, alluring melodies and large helpings of funk. Breaking into the scene in 2015, their rise has been exponential with tracks already signed to Saved Records, Bedrock and two appearances on the Showcrates series.

In its original form, ‘Lestat’ is a powerful, deep synth-led progger. On a bed of crisp percussive rhythms, a repeating phrase running throughout intertwines with pads and sonics to weave a personal journey towards the stratosphere. On remix duties, Rick Pier O’Neil takes us down a darker, ethereal path towards the earlier hours of the morning while label manager Graziano Raffa turns in a lighter, xylophone-led version filled with warm, summery feels.

Last Night On Earth welcome the prolific Deadbeat with a special vinyl ‘LNOE in Dub’ compilation, featuring a new Sasha exclusive. The DJ/producer, sound artist and music tech educator already has an extensive resume of labels and collaborators including Echocord, Mutek, Sonar, RBMA, and Monolake. Deadbeat aka Scott Monteith has reworked his eight favourite cuts from the LNOE back
catalogue, creating dub interpretations of tracks from Sasha, Hunter/Game, Ejeca, Jody Barr, VONDA7, Alex Niggemann, Jon Gurd and Dubspeeka. The Canadian-born, Berlin-based producer has delivered the dream – reworks which could stand up as single tracks in their own right, while preserving the gravitas of the original cuts. Furthermore, Sasha’s ‘Float Collapse’ is an exclusive track from the label head, never before released.

Along with eleven albums, 20+ singles, countless remixes and collabs, Deadbeat also has a peerless dub archive spanning early Jamaican roots, through the 80s/90s to today’s evolving global scene. His DJ mix ‘Radio Rothko’ in 2010 is rated by various publications as one of the most genre defining mix CDs of all time. 

For Deadbeat, his debut for Sasha’s imprint is especially meaningful. ‘I saw Sasha play for the first time in Toronto around 1996, and while we have travelled in quite different musical circles since then, it was a real honour to put this project together. The LNOE catalogue has so many melodically rich dance floor killers, it was a real pleasure to rework them into a more meditative, cerebral mode. Coming in for a full on Hive Audio label debut after already contributing a track to our „Summer Slices Compilation 2018“ is Mar Dean, another long standing activist from the Swiss underground now aiming at international dancefloors with his „Come With Me EP“ release.

Opening with the title track „Come With Me“ Mar Dean approaches high energy Tech House in a truly uplifting fashion, draws inspiration from classic HardBag build-ups and finally triggers ecstatic crowd reaction with a rolling monster of a bassline accompanied by masterly crafted melodic elements in motion. A true banger with a slightly progressive twist.

Dealing with „Volcano Pigs“ we see Mar Dean coming from a slightly different angle, catering a stompy, well sculpted and defo more Techno-leaning foundation drumwise before opening things up with intricate melodic interplay and slightly dubbed out House stabs, hard filtered vocal samples and ghostly FX for spine-tingling moments on the dancefloor.

Teaming up with vocalist Nicole, Mar Dean is in for serious „Euphoria“ caused by hyper-harmonic, somewhat melancholia inducing chord progressions in combination with emotionally touching storytelling – all falling together to form the most beautiful electronic love song you've heard in ages.

Finally German producer Ron Flatter is in for a remix treatment, transforming and reshaping „Euphoria“ into a captivating, ever cascading Tech House anthem infused with huge harmonic basslines, angelic pads and a big portion of ravey, intense vibes for an ultimate peaktime takeoff.
