LES - LunarEscapeSystem - is an Israeli electronic music duo based in Tel Aviv, formed by Elena Palui and Genrietta Ge. LES is an ambient/soundscape/techno project that began collaborating six years ago, and ever since performed numerous times in live A/V.LES explores electronic sound and has developed a sonic language, inspired by the natural sound of the elements, modern urban chaos, space’s phenomena, and silence.

Some thoughts on the tuning:

A "NEJI" tuning (which stands for "Near-Equal Just Intonation") uses just intervals to approximate equal-temperament intervals. Just intonation imbues extra color and flavor into each chord that is often lacking in it's equal-tempered counterpart. Since the just intervals vary in length, every key in a NEJI takes on a unique harmonic character. This is a fairly simple NEJI, since it approximates the intervals of 12edo, but I still find it's nuances to be very enchanting :)

Air Symbol (Beginnings)

Dimitris Doukas is a young talented Greek producer currently residing in the island of Corfu. He is the man behind the aliases Plaggona, Restive Plaggona and Matriarchy Roots. Plaggona is a Greek word meaning doll that kids play with and Restive Plaggona denotes the doll that is stubbornly resisting control.  
Under his many aliases, he counts numerous releases on various labels such as Moral Defeat , Collapsing Market, Yerevan Tapes, DVNTT as well as his own label Several Minor Promises. His releases come in either very limited runs of tapes or digital files.

Fifty-fifth in the Eclectic Reactions monthly podcast series, signed by Nictofilia aka Yohana Fernandez. Asturian resident in Bilbao, she has lived the electronic music since her childhood, linked to it as a former club owner, promoter, DJ and producer, being also the creator of the Donations Records charity project. For this mix she presents us with a total of fifty minutes full of drones, experimentation, industrial sounds, broken rhythms and oppressive atmospheres under a logical and homogeneous prism, shelled with neatness, sensitivity and energy.

Second Spectre appeared in 2016, as a four handed electronic music research entity, remaining discreet about their identities and musical background as they always want the musical performance to come forth of their public image.
They released music on different labels such as Strange Therapy, VOITAX, Etang Brulant, Champ Libre Records, Constant Value, Solid Shape and various remixes.
Beyond the musical aspect, the members of Second Spectre are also involved in projects incorporating photography, graphic design, fashion, visual and performance art.
As they are always trying to push the boundaries of possibilities, their creative process is always evolving. It becomes different on every release, and collaborations with other talented artists make the Spectre grow everyday.

He is an active member and founder of Rebels Collective, a project started in 2014 with the aim to spread the word of the most leftfield sides of techno. His sets are recognised for his inclusion of hypnotic and heavy sounds, with touches of electro and EBM vibes. As a producer, he has released on labels such as Geometrika FM, MFM, and his own imprint Rebels and Riot.
