In 2012, Boston based DJ/Producer Nick Smeed decided to take his sounds back to basics, before the aggressive electro-stylings of his more commonly know alias L.E.D.FUT. With a Together Music Festival wining remix of (Boston-based) E-Funk pioneers Soul Clap.  As L.E.D.FUT, Nick always expressed versatility through his production showing how he could dabble in just about any genre and do it well. His path of music production started with Hip Hop, R&B proceeded to Tech House, Progressive House, Electro House, to Moombahton, Dubstep and DRUMstep. Originally working exclusively with the latter, it comes as no surprise his sets and productions are sprinkled with this cross genre flavor. Now as Bass Glutton, Nick has stepped into a deeper realm of house music utilizing influence from genres past he intends to make unique music that not only takes the listener on a journey but also evoke emotion within. With his impeccable ability to adapt to crowds big and small, Bass Glutton makes for unforgettable live performances and everlasting musical experiences.  Having already played alongside such renowned EDM purveyors as John Dahlback, Nigel Richards, DJ Dara, Christian Martin, Worthy, Mark Starr, Destructo, as well as at most of New Englands seminal EDM houses like Rise, Naga, The Middle East Downstairs (Cambridge), The Phoenix Landing, Therapy (Providence), as well as the Dirtybird Pool Party and Camp Colbrook Music Festival 2013, Bass Glutton is now a household name in his native Boston setting his sights on nothing less than the world.
