Andreas, who ventured into DJing back in 1995, started his musical journey crafting mix tapes and spinning drum and bass in Philadelphia's underground rave scene. Currently based in San Francisco, Andreas combines his love for music with his studies in computer science. Operating under the alias Tygre (@djtygre), he immersed himself in the darker realms of electro, techno, and drum and bass from 1997 to 2000. After a prolonged hiatus, Tygre, inspired by the hypnotic sounds of electro, techno, and drum and bass, is back to spread his passion for music, the art of mixing, and the creation of mesmerizing sonic journeys. It's been 1 year of ParallaX and for the occasion our founder EKATA has recorded a mix with the very essence that encapsulates our soon to be Label and mix series. 
She has also featured 6 of her tracks that have just been released / are coming soon... ⚡️

EKATA is a London based DJ/Producer + Natural Selection Resident who's productions are characterised by their dark and atmospheric soundscapes, driven by pulsating rhythms and intricate synth work.

With support from the likes of Anthony Rother, Bloody Mary, Dave Clarke amongst others, EKATA's genuine and passionate approach to Electro is something that is rarely matched.

Determined to create music that is unearthly, idiosyncratic and exuding futurism of that of a sci-fi film, she always ensures a story is to be told in each track she produces.
She mainly sticks to the dark and eerie side of Electro in her productions & gigs, where she will take you on a dark and twisted journey through incredibly dystopian, ominous grooves and obvious sci-fi fixations which embody her carefully picked selections.

Inspiré par les sonorités plus sombres de l'électro, de la techno et de la drum and bass, Tygre fait un retour remarqué après une pause prolongée, désireux de partager à nouveau son amour pour la musique et l'art du mix. Actuellement installé à San Francisco, Andreas se consacre également à l'étude de l'informatique.

Il tisse avec habileté des paysages sonores électro envoûtants, parfaits pour accompagner les journées ensoleillées ou pour procurer des frissons intenses.
