Supercharge your week with a high voltage electro storm ⚡. And a mini-story about an unusual track from 1995.🚨🔥

Backstory:

I once attended a rave in 1995 in Seattle, Washington where DJ Trance (@jasonblakemoresoundcloud) of Bassex records fame caved the roof dropping this mysterious record entitled "The Siren." It's a one-sided white label released in 1995 that I later picked up at Philadelphia's 611 Records the same year. It's produced by Vinny Vincent (the guitarist of KISS!?!?) and Harry Hash. The gabber-ish track features a distorted kick and two super long breakdowns with nothing but siren.

It's a special kind of record for an emergency mind melt or to incite dance floor panic. And you can get it digitally on some music sites. 

I mix another strange white label track out of it from 1991, that is featured on a Helena Hauff mix that is re-released digitally by Tresor that I heard via one of Adrian Marth's (@adrian_marth)  (@Italo_Moderni) epic and wonderful SoundCloud mixes.

Andreas started djing in 1995, creating mix tapes and playing drum and bass in Philadelphia's underground rave scene from 1997 to 2000 under the moniker "Tygre." Inspired by the darker sounds of electro, techno and drum and bass Tygre returns from a long hiatus to share his love for the music and art of mixing. Andreas lives in San Francisco and studies computer science.

In this mix, dark and stormy electro twists through a landscape of distorted bass and resolves in a post vortex calm.

This was my favorite mixer of all times. Big beefy wheels, and good, warm sound for its day in the 90s. It was also built like a tank. It never had the good hi / low / band pass of the pioneer mixers in its day, but a great mixer for those that could use it!!!

Hot Philly summers, BMX & 10 speed bikes, RAID weed, and forty ounces off Rodman Street. Lots of listening to dnb at Platinum + Club Fluid (RIP) and Club Space (RIP). Philly was a dark, fun playground. Recorded on a "POWER MACINTOSH 7600" which happened to have noisy RCA inputs, but a god send for bedroom dj kids.

Feline predator from the jungle with an affinity for underground dance music. Mixing since 1994 and interested in giving people joy through electronic music. 

Based out of San Francisco, California. Active in the Philadelphia rave scene 1997-2000.

Lover of electro, drum and bass, techno and music to get the g-bumpz. Enamored by cassette mixtape culture of 1990s raves.
