Zesty sound-meister Staken cut his musical teeth acoustically. Once the artist discovered electronic sound, he realigned definitively. 22 years later, Staken more than ever.

The musician has attained success with a wide range of releases over a decade. Initially, 25 tracks were dropped on “Hardbeats International”. Staken then founded his own label “Beat Fixed Recordings” and released a further 3 progressive house and electro EPs.

Support includes play by Marlo and features on three compilation albums. These include two appearances on “A Night of Trance” mixed by the enigmatic DJ Yoshi.

A precocious performer, Staken thrives on the creative energy of gigging live. He debuted in Sydney in 1999, and has since headlined events such as Sublime live and A Night of Trance #2. The artist has been honoured to play with such headliners as Roger Sanchez, DuMonde JamX, DJ Scot Project, DJ Dean, TyDi, Energy 52, Kink and Derrick Carter. He has been hosted by venues across Australia.

This year, Staken ups the ante with several EPs and remixes scheduled for release. He has been seduced by the sophisticated sounds of tech and deep house. These influences wind enticingly through his upcoming drops.

Complementing highly anticipated releases, Staken will captivate dance floors internationally with his mischievous sound, treating party people to ravishing aural adventures!

I've been dabbling in DJing, Mixing and then production since I was 17, so getting on for 26 years!! (Jees!! time flies when you're having fun!) Was absolutely dreadful at the beginning, but we all got to start somewhere! I love heavy bass, love listening to it, love creating it. I'm not in it for fame or money, Just the buzz when someone hears your track and it sends tingles up their spine, that's the ultimate goal for me.
