The initial spark of creativity resides deep within us like a seed, waiting for water and warmth before germinating into a floral wonder. Our next guest is a rather fine gardener in this sense, having cut his teeth for 10 years in the Berlin underground before flourishing into the internationally renowned artist he is today. At this point, Rødhåd is an artist who hardly needs an introduction. Launching his party series-turned-label Dystopian in 2009, he undoubtedly helped facilitate the musical landscape of modern-day Berlin with his uncompromising vision of techno. Known for his infectious smile and ginger personality, he has won many hearts and minds with his selections and productions ever since his humble beginnings. 

With his new label, WSNWG, he has entered a new chapter of collaborative synergy and fluid audio-visual exploration, releasing his first full-length ambient album MOOD as well as tracks with Ø [PHASE], Lady Starlight, and Antigone among others. It is in this spirit that we have asked him for a contribution to Unrush, and his mix does not disappoint. Clocking in at just over an hour, it takes us through sweeping valleys of sound, whispers of content, and everything in between. Blind Observatory is a DJ, music producer, designer and visual artist who's body of work is orbiting around topics of science-fiction, futurism and astronomy.
Conceived as a philosophy of treating dance floors as the "observatory for the blind", the name stays a constant reminder and loose set of rules for David when investigating both, the infinite freedom and loneliness found in the universe. 
This unique approach and a deep understanding of a night's flow make him a true master of riding the thin line between melancholy and euphoria, earning him the reputation of a DJ's DJ. 
Since 2016 he is running the small label @gravitationalrecords, not only as an outlet for his own music but a hub for like-minded artists.
David's sets are best described as cinematic journeys into the unknown. 
This is so well represented in this journey he created for us.

Ateq: გერმანელი პროდიუსერი და DJ, ვაიმარში დაფუძნებული ბოლო დროის ერთ-ერთი ყველაზე აღსანიშნავი ლეიბლის Giegling წევრი და თანადამაარსებელი.  Ateq-ის დისკოგრაფია 2011 წელს,  Giegling-ზე გამოსული Res EP-ით იწყება. ამ ლეიბლს ეკუთვნის მისი მომდევნო რელიზებიც. Ateq-ის ტრეკები და სეტები პირდაპირ დაკავშირებულია Giegling-ის კოლექტივის გამორჩეული და დასამახსოვრებელი საუნდის ჩამოყალიბებასთან. Ateq-ის ჟღერადობა  მელანქოლიურია და წარმოადგენს დაბის, მინიმალ ტექნოს და ჰაუსის სინთეზს.

Ateq: German Producer and Dj, who is one of the key members of today’s most special and interesting label by many opinions. Ateq’s first release for Giegling came out in 2011, an EP named “Res” and the imprint has been his only platform since then. His productions and sets are directly connected to forming the Giegling crew’s unique and memorable sounds. Minimal and melancholic vibes in Ateq’s music is a synthesis of dub, techno and house.

Deeply influenced by True Deep house from artists like Manuel Gottsching, Moritz Von Oswald, and Basic Channel, Iori started his musical career in Naha, Okinawa in the late 90′s. He went to New York in 2003, and later on headed back to Japan after serving as a project coordinator for The Loft under David Mancuso. Characterised by the heavy and bouncy rhythms , grand atmospheric synth layers, Iori has already established his unique sound in the European techno and house circuit. Iori has released 2 studio albums and numerous EPs on the labels such as Semantica Records, Prologue, Bitta, etc..

Iori’s mix for Bassiani Podcast begins with moody, atmospheric tracks like  “Movement Strobe 1” from BLNDR and “Cursor Items Only” by Tobias . Throughout, the vibe deepens across a long run of dynamic, energetic tunes , such as “Billingsella”, an acid bomb of Roberto & Jamie Anderson. Along the way, we get a lot of twists and turns, without leaving a whole contect of the mix, and the final part climax with a powerful techno records as a dessert. The result is a thrilling, trippy adventure from start to finish.

One last mix to end the year. When Svreca sent me this set, he could not have known what it would mean to me. I have spent so much time looking back lately, reliving old discussions and re-imagining moments passed, often lamenting how much was lost along the way. In just under three hours this mix communicates the flow of years. An archived recording from a special memory, it reminds me that the passage of time is beautiful even in what it fades away. Listening to it, I become lost completely, as though I am everywhere at once.

Thank you to everyone who listened this year, who sent warm messages and left comments, who supported us and kept us feeling connected. Thank you to the artists who continue to give their time and trust to the podcast and label, and keep us moving forward.
