TradeMarc is a household name in South Africa when it comes to the electronic scene, he is an accomplished DJ and producer that has played all over South Africa and Mozambique at places like Truth, ESP Night Club, Earthdance, H20 and so many more places. He is also a prominent producer with releases on Chutney Records, Danse Club and Box of Cats to name a few.

BIO:

It’s all happening at an extremely rapid rate for Marc Paynter who, at the age of 31, is regarded as one of the most
naturally gifted performers to emerge from his generation, specifically in his hometown of Johannesburg.

Widely known as TradeMarc, this self-taught South African DJ has been mastering the art of DJ'ing for almost 20
years. His relentless work ethic, belief in his own skills and, of course, love for the music form the foundation of this
success.

A lover of a variety of genres of music, he has incorporated his passion for all sounds into his live performances,
making him one of the most sought-after and versatile DJ’s in the industry today.

Marc has featured at some of South Africa’s and Mozambique’s biggest festivals, including over 15x H2O’s,
Earthdance, Rage Festival, Wonderland, Berg in the Burg, Mixed Feelings and Electric Circus, as well as
performances countrywide at clubs including Origin, ESP, Sugar, Reset, Nicci Beach, MVG and Truth – where he is
currently a resident.

He has also had to the privilege of sharing the bill with internationals including Deadmau5, Avicii, Stimming, Stefan
Bodzin, Justin Martin, Shiba San and Fisher, and has also opened or closed for the likes of Black Coffee, Sirus Hood,
Kolombo, Rocksted, Joeski, Weiss, East End Dubs and Kyle Watson – to name a few.

However, it isn’t all about the DJ life for Marc. He is also an internationally acclaimed music producer, having had a
number of releases on various labels including Universal Music, Box Of Cats, David Gresham Records, Danse Club
and Chutney Records.

Hard-working, down to earth and extremely easy-going, TradeMarc is a name that has become a regular feature in
the South African clubbing and music industry. With this sterling record having been achieved in such a short time,
Marc continues to turn heads with his unique sound and thriving personality. Keep an eye out and an ear open for
this extremely versatile and experienced sensation!
