Here's the recording of an organic ethereal set I had the pleasure to play at Rieti for NYE. The gathering took place in a beautiful forest and has been of great revealing energy! 

I would describe this set as ambient and introspective for the first part, whereas the deep and bumpy groove kicks in throughout the second part. 

I instantly fell in love with the location and playing there, I could feel the energy of the surroundings flow through me and I let myself be driven by it.

Bassi J - Live @ Rieti (NYE Special) ✦ Part One

Jacopo aka Bassi J, Italian by birth, turned into a global citizen through his wanderings.
He started mixing in Hangzhou, China in 2012. He banded together with a group of students and created UAi - Urban Art Ideas - a concept of parties that would involve both art & music. He has an incredible ear for music and his thoughtful, layered DJ sets consistently demonstrate control over the pace of his craft allowing any melancholic shade of house music to flourish with enthusiasm. The end result is just as suited for a nightclub dance floor as it is in leisure time at home.
