"Gold Splash" is a visual blast of underwater VHS voyages and saturated Synth outtakes. This track instantly transforms you into guiding a dive mission on the great barrier reef. There’s a playground of textural soundscapes and atmospheric pleasures inspired by reading offshore correspondence documents written by marine biologists in the 1970s.

"Gold Splash" " is the second single from RUMTUM's upcoming LP "Isles in Indigo". The album is the landing point where the story beginnings for musician and visual artist RUMTUM. While living in Hawaii and studying the coral reef around south Kona for two months, the LP was recorded on samplers and a Tascam tape deck. Returning to the mainland with only saturated rough drafts influenced this over-saturated lost island tape vibe. The recordings were finished at a mountain home in southern Colorado during the worldwide shutdown of COVID-19, it was an odd time to work on such an uplifting and mystical concept but allowed for escapism at its best.

Electronic producer and instrumental enthusiast John Hastings (aka RUMTUM) has a unique approach to crafting his melodic tunes. The Cleveland native offers a broad frequency, and whether it be his love for native spirits or sea life, the natural world plays a significant role in the dynamics of his writing. From a young age his obsession for mixers and knobs grew into a passion for recording with found objects and handmade instruments. And while learning drums provided the musical foundation to understand bass and guitar, a fascination with synthesizers and explorations into field recordings continues to inspire his craft.

There were all sorts of shimmering shapes and colours floating atop the water as he watched perched upon a boat heading down stream. They moved softly on the rolling waves as they travelled through the old town - onlookers gazed out upon the spectacle, they say nestled amidst the reeds on the shore. For some of them it would be the first time that they had ever seen a parade or procession as grand and fantastic as this - the wild colours were electric and ethereal aboard the floating ships. It were as if they'd touched down from outer space. 

Because of Art is a producer who is receiving wide acclaim and support from some of the biggest and best dj's out there. With releases on the likes of Skream and Sasha's labels thus far, now he sets up shop on Anja Schneider's Sous Music with a track called 'Ethereal'.

Dubbing his output as 'system music for the body and the soul', Significant Other's sound is crafted with the club in mind, though there's a cerebral quality to his crisp, bass-driven sonics.

After making his debut in 2018 on Darwin's Spe:c, the UK-born, NYC-based producer went on to release 12"s for Well Street Records, Oscilla Sound and anno, following those up recently with his first ever long player ‘RESIDUUM’ on Manchester's YOUTH.

When he's not in the studio working on his own ventures, alongside pal and fellow DJ Only Child, he's running Club Night Club: a party series that recently launched a label arm with stellar EPs from Herron and Design Default.

Thankfully he was one of the lucky few who believed in something greater and something more. Heaven forbid he might think otherwise for then there would be little hope. He began to recite the words he'd been taught as a child many years ago, a wise prayer destined to fend off evil spirits and send them dancing into the night sky, all he had to do was believe. 

Dopeness Galore get the London hook up with the release of a stellar deep moving house cut of a track called "Believe". IG Culture reimagines the track for something destined for deep, dark basements under the guise of LCSM - Likwid Continual Space Motion.

It had become all about the thrill; his life now consumed by an urge to seek out new ways to satisfy his dangerous itch. Like an addict searching for their next hit, every waking hour of his day he thought about what would come next. What strange and twisted task he'd challenge himself to complete this time. Each day he needed to up the dose; he had to take it to the next level. This was now his only means of survival.

Belfast-based duo Black Bones came together through a shared love of collecting and spinning weird and wonderful sounds. After curating and releasing a highly tipped series of seven psychedelic disco 12”s, they make their way to Touch Sensitive Records for their debut EP consisting of four original club cuts, that explore the sleazy and dubbed out corners of industrial, house and new beat.
