This is a journey through my psyche from 2022 to today as I experienced EMDR as a therapeutic pathway for my own healing. Your mind and body experience a variety of sensory overloads throughout this process as you open and re-write memories constantly in your subconscious for months on end. I wrote SEND3R while on medication for a medical condition which led me to feel incredibly anxious and frustrated for weeks. I was in a lot of pain and eventually a lot of angst bubbled up. Relapse should be self-explanatory. Reconcile was written as the literal and figurative process of coming though a relapse and making it to the other side. It twists and turns like a snake being turned inside out, each layer of flesh becoming exposed before being rolled up behind the next... Hiss was just an experiment to see if I could make something catchy. I especially love the drop after the large break, as it turns itself inside out in a way as well. I hope you enjoy the journey through sound... and though my psyche. EMDR is wild stuff.

Brighton-based DJ and producer Hugo Hollis, known as Hollistic, makes a striking return to the Déepalma family with his latest organic house release, ‘Travellers / Lost & Uncertain’, landing October 10, 2025 on Déepalma Records.

Having debuted on the label’s Déepalma Soul sub-imprint with his ‘On A Roll’ EP, Hollistic quickly made waves with his standout Nu Disco cut ‘Tell Me What You Want’, a shimmering groove that gained international attention. With his new release, Hollistic takes a far deeper route, showcasing the atmospheric, emotive side of his production.
