Earlier this year, one of the most special releases on the label saw release.
A Dutch/South African team up, born during the lockdown, and a bit of an experiment from both Singer/Songwriter Tanya van Schalkwyk and DJ and Producer Ruben de Ronde. 

Coming to the deeper remixes of this gem, the man responsible for the first mix was on top of the list of candidates of giving their spin to 'Lose Yourself'. Brazilian Scorz has been rocking the charts in the last few months with releases on Armada and Armind recordings, and he brought his A game for this remix!

The artwork is created Stacey Yamada, USAGI & ME, the creator of BLUE, the official mascot of Team Liquid. If you pay close attention, you will see Blue making an appearance on the artwork too!

In ascension to stellar terrain, you must first step out of the chaos. JAGGER showcases this through the narrative of his remix of “ Loic D - Melody of World”, a nerve-wracking iteration of the artists’ artistic exploration.

A stupendous wall of sound initiates the track that waxes in intensity as effective vocal cuts conjoin the hard-hitting percussion and a final exuberance is achieved with the pairing of a monstrous kickdrum and dandy melody that oozes melancholy.

Following title track ‘Kili’ premiering on label compilation Anjunadeep 14 earlier this year, French artists Romain Garcia and Douran release the three-track ‘Kili EP’. The EP is the sum of the pair’s artistic and cinematic influences, culminating in three driving anthems that are a masterclass in emotionally-charged melodic house.

The EP is Romain Garcia’s third with Anjunadeep, following his previous two releases, ‘Everybody Dreams’ and ‘Before You Go’, which have, together, clocked up nearly two million streams. Garcia collaborated with Ben Böhmer on their track ‘Cappadocia’, released on Cercle Records, and has garnered support from a wide range of tastemakers such as Pete Tong, Hernán Cattáneo and LP Giobbi. Romain has recently played at the stunning Pic Du Midi Observatory in the French Pyrenees, and will complete a six-stop North American tour this September, with dates in Denver, San Francisco, Seattle, New York, Montréal and Toronto.

A versatile musician and composer, Douran has released his own complex and classically-inspired productions on Anjunadeep and ambient sister label Reflections, as well as remixing William Orbit’s acclaimed ‘Starbeam’. The live act and producer has also been supported by publications such as Clash and Decoded.

“When I started to work on this track, I could not envision how it would turn out, I was just making it, bit by bit. After doing the first beats, I made the bassline using Reaktor. The sound and the sequence reminded me a bit of the old school stuff from The Hacker and David Carreta and the idea of inviting Kittin to do the vocals came to mind. She said she loved the track and she was gonna do the vocals and the result could not be better. I am a huuuge fan of hers going back many years and I have a lot of her records from when I started playing, right through to her recent productions. I remember when she went to Brazil about 15 years ago to play at one of the most loved clubs there at the time called Lov.e. I could not be there but I saw her on TV when she gave an interview on one of the country’s biggest channels. I vividly remember calling all my family to see it – I felt a huge admiration for her, her music, her style and everything about her. And I still do! I was a 17-year-old living in the Brazilian countryside at the time watching one of my idols on TV and could never have imagined that one day we would be doing a track together.
