In the beginning of last year the world looked quite different. Coincidence had just come out of hibernation and we wanted to get back into the game with a bomb. So, our buddy Remy-x came up with the 'Bodyfication EP'. We had three tracks and one remix by Psytox and although we believed and loved the tracks, we didn't have much hope that people would pick up on it in those trying times when everyone was playing the same stuff and everyone was looking for The Next Big Thing. 

And then it happened: first, Marika Rossa got on board when she pushed 'Konzentriert' and later 'CTRL-X'. I Hate Models really caught everyone's attention when he blasted 'The Body' everywhere. Unfortunately that alo started a shitstorm that unintentionally helped to push the track to stardom. An adapted version became the biggest hit to date for Coincidence. A year after the release, our friend Amelie Lens rediscovered the track giving it a second lease on life that catapulted it to the number one spot on Beatport for 6 weeks straight. 

So here we are: again ready to reboot Coincidence for another season and again we start with Remy-x. This time, we have 4 remixes for you that each have a very different vibe and all are uncompromising to say the least!  The remixers? Austria's super producing duo Niereich & Shadym. Belgian hardcore and techno demi-God Tripped. The Wir Tanzen boss Man Outta Space in collab with one of Techno's most interesting talents Don Woezik. And the fourth by our returning favo talent from Holland: Cynkt.

Exactly one year after his debut ‘The Eyes’ for BPitch Berlin, ‘Ego Wars’ is the follow-up EP of the exceptional Spanish artist Regal. With the three tracks (as well as a remix by the Frenchman Hadone) Gabriel Cassina shows again why he is one of the most prominent techno acts of our time. After releasing acid-infused rave tracks like ‘Overground’, which last year became an outstanding signature track not only in Ellen Allien’s DJ sets, he now combines radically fast beats with trance-influenced melodies on the ‘Ego Wars’ EP. The tracks convey the same passion that you could hear on his previous releases on his own label Involve, but they are also partially entering a new stylistic territory, triggered by his move from Madrid to Barcelona last year.

According to Cassina, the name of the EP and the title track ‘Ego Wars’ is not only closely linked to strong feelings of frustration, redemption and love, he clearly also knows how to express these intensities musically. ‘Ego Wars’ is a high-performance rave track with an uncompromisingly twisting, distorted bassline and a theme that sounds like an echo from a Detroit techno-dystopia. Cassina shows a seriousness and strength here that has never been heard of him in this way before. A2 number ‘Anhedonia’ begins with Regal’s typically hard-hitting groove until a super euphoric trance melody floods the brain with serotonin - a musical dichotomy that Cassina repeatedly transforms into pure rave ecstasy here.


‘Fuck Making Love’ on the B-side then absorbs the energy of ‘Anhedonia’ and transfers it into something a little brighter - until an almost oriental-sounding melody pushes the track in a completely unexpected direction - a real exceptional track in Regal’s extensive discography! The French DJ and producer Hadone, who recently released an EP on Shlømo’s label Taapion, finally turns ‘Fuck Making Love’ into a summerly raving uptempo neo trance hymn, rounding off this EP in the best possible way.

Der 26-jährige wurde in Marl geboren und begann seine musikalische Laufbahn bereits im Jugendalter.
Dabei spielte die elektronische Musik zwar schon eine Rolle, jedoch legte er seinen Fokus zunächst auf andere musikalische Richtungen, wie zum Beispiel Rap. 
Seit 8 Jahren ist er nun in der Welt der elektronischen Musik als DJ unterwegs. 
Für Steven Loca ist Musik die höchste Form von Magie und diesen Zauber lässt er gerne sprühen, in welcher Form und Art auch immer - hier kommt jeder Liebhaber der elektronischen Musik auf seine Kosten.
2018 hat er mit einem Verbündeten die Veranstaltung "Techno aus Leidenschaft" ins Leben gerufen. Weitere Gigs spielte er auf Raves der Veranstaltungen "Kopfkino", "Dopaminmangel (0815Techno)", "BassMeetsElectro" und "BassPartie".
Steven Locas Sound geht in der Regel gut nach vorne, jedoch ist er sich aufgrund seiner Vorgeschichte und Liebe zur Musik für keinen Sound zu schade. Bei ihm bekommt man neben seinem Hauptgenre auch Styles wie Tech-House oder Drum & Bass zu hören.
