Short length documentary explores methods of creative interaction with unique industrial city environment by means of street-art and digital technology. "Signals" is a series of experiments with light, inspired by soviet industrial heritage and russian futurism utopia. It is a synthesis of spray paint, LED lights and projections, driven by echoing techno chords. Synesthetic currents transformation is induced by high energy steel production through collaboration with the techno project "Toki Fuko" (Foucault currents).

Manufacturing is a centre of monotonous city life. Freight trains and automobiles transport productive forces (ger. Produktivkräfte) in the slowdown techno loop. Faded, dusty industrial сity colors diсtates choice of gray paint. Primitive geometric shapes gain the color at nightfall. The movement is created by switching drawing elements and color schemes animation.

Marc Romboy is back on Tronic, and we have two remixes of his classic “The Overture”. For remix duties we enlisted Techno originator and legend Joey Beltram, as well as France’s deep house genius Rodriguez Jr. The outcome is as expected. Mr Beltram changes the original to a peak time slice of moody techno, whereas Rodriguez Jr. goes the more melodic route using a beautiful arpeggio. We are very happy with this release and hope you will be as well!

Dorian Gray (aka Moreno from Italy) takes his name from the infamous Oscar Wilde character who trades his soul for an eternal life of sinful debauchery. And indeed the heady world of underground club music can sometimes feel like this! The intensity of this dark concept is expertly weaved into the deep techno sound of Dorian Gray where Moreno keeps a strong focus on meticulous ambient loops moving into hypnotic techno rhythms. Moreno’s early influences hark back to the dark electronic 80s new wave sound but there are also jazz influences which have helped him coin the descriptive term of “afro-futurist techno”. Production work aside mainly with the note label Circular Limited, Dorian has received high accolades from artists such as Edit Select & Cio D'Or and he firmly states that his first love is DJing where he continues to push forward, proving his talent through various booking across Europe, in his native Italy and trips to his home from home, Berlin.

The funky but melancholic android is back on Emerald & Doreen and delivers a second round of robotic stills. It’s a French robot after all and the influences from famous French fellow natives such as Air & Daft Punk are always present.
„Liars“ draws on key ingredients from French synth-pop and house music such as vocoderized voices and ambient instrumentals but brings them together in its own futuristic logic. As many E&D artists Dilig0 is more of a conceptual artist than a traditional music writer. Tracks quite often miss a clear structure and rather follow artistic intuition rather than conventional wisdom. „Liars“ very much follows this approach. It would make the perfect soundtrack for a little science fiction bistro bar scene in a (French) galaxy near by where androids are sipping on cosmic cocktails served by stylish black & white hipster robots.


The package comes with two beautiful remixes by Alejandro Molinari and Lazy Kiss.
