There was a big news story yesterday about Mark Zuckerberg being grilled by Congress on how Meta, which includes Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and others, is somehow responsible for the suicide deaths of teenagers who were addicted to social media. Much of the content entailed bullying and blackmail, which in turn caused immense distress for the victims. The rate at which young people are killing themselves over online cognitive warfare is growing and parents do not know what to do. We need to discuss the repercussions of this phenomenon while taking into consideration the possibilities of cyberpsychosis and the attack on our cognitive liberty. INTERNATIONAL TRAFFIK BOYZ (MAIN) INSTRUMENTAL

Inspired by the roman architect Vitruvius Bastian Heed explores the connection between us and the universe thru his music. The first song, Alamandra 2.0. it's a trip through time, the saxophone is his vehicle of choice into new paths ambiented on purple mountains. On Queen Popp, his second track, he drives with verses into redemption, that's the theme of this vibe, he creates a dangerous character, the Popper Queen, taking sex addiction as her weapon, the song narrates the fight and win over it. The third track its called Remedy, an afrobeat hit, mixing scat singing and trap he tells his love he'll love her even at the darkest times. Green Land is an ode to freedom only possible in Colombia. on the last track We were meant to be he takes his pace to tell us a story about sacrifice and love by mixing jazz, trap and R&B.

Bastian Heed is an artist who’s love for music has taken him to new universes and ways of seeing reality, every day he is pushing the boundaries of genres to adapt to his style, creating lo-fi soul, lo-fi afrobeats, and electronic music blended with trap cadencies and a jazz-fueled improvisations that makes him one of the most versatile and recognizable artists in the planet. 

Born in Bogotá, Colombia, the capital of the country, it was his destiny to be raised by a mixed culture that brought in the Caribbean, the Pacific and the Savanna regions together in a festival of music, dance, and love that permeated a young artist’s perspective in new ways to communicate and feel life. During his teenage years Hip-Hop, Reggae and Jazz music played a major role on developing his style of singing and rhyming. 

He traveled to the U.S. around 2011 where he started his music career singing at Miami South Beach’s streets, with a guitar a some friends. He came back to Colombia due to the freedom that the country offered him. As he grew up as an artist the 60’s Rock and Roll guided him to philosophy which he studied and used to understand his music experiences. He learned to produce his own music and captured his early vision on his first singles “Cosmic Jungle” (2021) and “Alamandra” (2022). Since then he has worked on his new album Vitruviuz Drugz (2023) which has a life of its own, on it he gathers most of what has been used and creates new tendencies on the American music landscape.
