Live recording. 
Soft pop + bit ranger + PO12 (drums)+ plus Ableton drums.
Melody generated by BitRanger and softPop pattern generator then processed and tweaked through the softPop. 
Drums provided by teenage engineering PO12 and Ableton Live. A sync signal from Ableton Live was sent via the sound card to the clock input of the bitRanger allowing drums to be added and tweaked in real time.

Soft Jams: softPop + bitRanger + PO12 + Ableton

SoftPop processing drum beat from TeenageEngineering PO12 drum machine. Audio signal from PO12 is plugged into the external input jack of the softPop. There is no shared clock between the PO12 and softPop. All syncing effects happen naturally as the SoftPop processes the signal peaks of the drum beat.

Beat Proces: softPop processes TE PO12 drummachine via EXT input - intuitive sync

Live recording of softPop with no other gear. 
Created by setting both oscillators to audio frequency and adjusting VCO0 fine tune while quantiser is active. Creates interference patterns and phases pulsing as both oscillators pitch get closer and further apart.

Complex feedback patch creates crazy chaotic style. 
Sounds were created by tweaking the 6 faders.

Arpeggio sequence provided by Arturia key step controller.  Patched to softPop via the 1 volt per octave control voltage input.

Live recording. Acid bass by softPop. Drum beat by modular synth. Rhythm was synced by connecting master clock out form modular synth to sync input of softPop oscillators.
