Last Looks is Bathe Alone's debut full length LP. While writing the majority of the music over the course of a year in 2019, Bailey's ultimate goal was to write a sonically cohesive experience you could lay on the floor and stare at the ceiling to.

Tarot Cards is a song where the lyrics, riffs, and all the tangible things in music come secondary to the mood. At least in Bathe's mind. This song was created to capture a mood and a feeling best not described, but experienced. Having Synesthesia, Bathe encourages everyone to hold still and get lost in the reverb, letting your mind surround you with waves of color; an experience unique to each individual.

Calm Down is Bathe Alone's 4th single and will appear on her upcoming LP "Last Looks" coming this 2020. Calm Down showcases the faster side of Bathe Alone's discography, with guitar solos and drums that never quit. The song is lyrically about panic attacks and how mental health can plague everyday life. The instruments themselves metaphorically sound like what a panic attack feels like, with the guitar solos descending just to ramp back up again. The outro of the song showcases what it feels like to finally calm down as Bathe Alone brings the listener along with her into a sense of peace.

While the track "Calm Down" was about panic attacks in the moment, "Champagne" is about panic attacks in the retrospective. Poor mental health can plague everyday life, and after a while it becomes fatiguing. When you avoid doing things in life for fear it will cause another attack, it becomes a disorder. Your whole life evolves around it, you're always on guard, and you're always taking into consideration how what you're about to do will affect you.

The first verse in "Champagne" talks about seeing random strangers out in the world and wondering what it would be like to trade lives with them. Freaky Friday style. The second verse touches on the same image. "I'm looking over shoulders and seeing everybody fine and how they don't mind" means exactly that. Everybody seems fine. But are they? Are they also dealing with internal demons and seeing me as a random stranger and thinking that I look fine? Is grass always greener on the other side?

In the chorus, "waking up with champagne" is a metaphor for all the blessing I have in my life. Even though I struggle with my own issues, I have to many things to be grateful for. Yet, this line is followed with "are you gonna be afraid every day?" If I have so much to be grateful for, why do I have to worry about struggling with my issues? Can't I just let it go, and enjoy my life? The rest of the chorus says "it comes in numbers. Would you have a life to trade for always?" This asks if it is so bad that I'd really want to permanently trade lives with someone? Again, is grass always greener on the other side?

"Champagne" asks a lot of questions. It's a reflective piece on a very after-the-fact perspective of mental health. Thanks for listening.

Why yes, Belladonna is a nice sing-a-long song about questions about whether those suicidal thoughts are hereditary or if you’re just depressed because you’ve seen your parent not wanting to live anymore. About not feeling that you’re worthy of love. And what a banger it is! 
The first single by Spunsugar that showcases the singing chops of bass player Felix, who sings in unison with lead singer Elin in the chorus. Keep your ear out for the parts where all three members are singing at the same time. The closest to Beach Boys Spunsugar has ever been.

Go Away was influenced by the writing style of Beach House and was written within days of writing The Silence. Since her head was in such a similar place lyrically and aesthetically, Go Away is considered a sister song to The Silence.

The Creeper sees the band dial back the tempo but crank up the intensity as they explore the liminal space that exists between dreams and reality, armed with monolithic riffs and parallel harmonies entwined in song. There’s a vague sense of unease that permeates Corey Flood’s debut full-length, Hanging Garden, out September 5th via Fire Talk. From the surface, the record appears to break through the dark fog of the band’s 2018 EP, Wish You Hadn’t, but just below lay themes of ambivalence, uncertainty, and anxiety, layered elegantly in fuzz. Recorded in Philadelphia by Jackie Milestone, mixed by Natasha Jacobs, and mastered by Sarah Register, Hanging Garden pushes through feelings of discomfort and repressed emotions to discover what truly lies beneath.

Born in Philly circa 2017, Corey Flood began as the post-grad bedroom project of bassist Ivy Gray-Klein (formerly of Littler) and drummer Juliette Rando. A month after their first show with guitarist Em Boltz, the band signed with New York’s Fire Talk Records and turned four planned demos into a full-fledged, delightfully menacing debut EP. Now, after two years of intense growth and collaboration, the trio continues their “whirlwind trajectory” with the long-awaited, nine-track LP, Hanging Garden.

Inspired by Throwing Muses, Helium, Pale Saints, and Brix Smith-Start’s work with the Fall, Gray-Klein calls Hanging Garden “a reckoning with internal discord.” Through soft melodies, lush guitars and churning rhythms, the dual vocals of Gray-Klein and Boltz recall relatable experiences with gaslighting, imposter syndrome, and repetitive thoughts. Hanging Garden feels intimate and familiar but is strewn with playful surprises, like 70s krautrock guitar work and samba-influenced drum parts. Hanging Garden is a mature stride forward, and a bewitching amble towards the unknown.

There's Talk - Ascension

Bathe Alone is the dream-pop moniker of multi-instrumentalist Bailey Crone. Taking shape in Atlanta, her haunting approach to songwriting and delicate vocal deliveries often draw comparisons to Beach House, Widowspeak, and The xx.

Growing up with a formal background in classical music, Crone first burrowed her way into the Peach State's indie scene as a teenager. She picked up drums, guitar, and bass early on, where she eventually discovered a distinct identity and connection to each instrument. With a drumming vocabulary more akin to the punk world and ambient guitar drenched in delay, the foundations for Bathe Alone were starting to crystallize.

After tinkering and fine tuning her sound even further, Crone enlisted the help of producer Damon Moon — who immediately recognized an untapped potential in the project. Within months they completed what would become Bathe Alone's debut LP, Last Looks. The 2021 album quickly caught fire and received praise from publications like Under The Radar, DittyTV, and more. Recently the team finished her sophomore full-length, Fall With The Lights Down — due out this summer via Kansas City label The Record Machine. With eyes fixed towards the future, Bathe Alone has a lot to look forward to.
