Dub_Kettle_Interchange is the new dub music project of artists/engineers, Jake Quinn and Oisín McGovern.
Jake, an avid jungle and footwork producer with releases on labels such as Hotbox Audio and Backroads Records, has paved his way in the bass music scene. His background as a professionally trained jazz drummer, insures infectious and ear worming grooves in all his projects. Oisín, an avid electro and techno producer made his stamp with releases on national and international labels, such as Hotbox Audio, Specimen Records and Abseits Records but to name a few. His experience as a producer and mix engineer, ensures a crisp and unique sound in all projects he's involved in. Dub_Kettle_Interchange, brings both artists grá for dub music to the studio and stage. A platform for both Jake and Oisín to indulge in the deep bass-lines, psychedelic delays and hypnotic rhythms they so often crave, whilst paying respects to a genre with undisputed history and unique tone.
Dub_Kettle_Interchange make their debut live appearances this summer, readying themselves to shake the bass-bins and audience into hypnotic submission with an immersive live show. Building live dub from scratch, the two blend live instruments with cell wiggling synthetic sounds, creating an unforgettable dub fuelled experience for all involved.
