The central themes of the track are the vastness of the universe and  its implausible but real connections despite this. Everlasting nothingness yet positivity as a disposition that can actually be borne out of reason (gratitude for the fluke of our existence). Movement and momentum, searching out the vast universe hopefully and everlasting nothingness at the same time. Optimistic resolutions, accepting our infinitesimal smallness, but asserting our absolute definitive substance (Spinoza-esque) in the cosmic soup; resilience, letting go, honesty, god-awful truth, revival, effusive embraces and absolute presence; adaptation and deliberate movement in any direction you choose . Big, searching, expanding, epic.  

The track is heavy on the instrumental and arrangement side. Bass, Guitar, Violin (Strings), Keys, Trumpet, Sax and Vocals all feature. We were going for epic. 

Our single's release artwork (ink drawings on sepia background) takes inspiration from said themes and drew some inspiration from a still from the film Manhunter. Two people essentially on the same side, but with alternate perspectives/approaches, having established our own little beachhead, facing the universe.
