Battle Flags is both the solo music project and moniker of singer/songwriter/producer Jack Budd. 
	While no particular genre can be attached to his musical efforts he has described his sound as “a sonic pop patchwork of bike rides, spray paint, social change, drunken camaraderie, and hope.”The music employs organic sounds that can range from Pots and Pans to Kalimbas and Cheese Graters. This is then inter-woven thru an array of synthesizers, guitars, vocal polyphonies and tribal beats that result in both a raucous and refined all together unique sound. 
	Battle Flags released his first full-length album “Color Engine,” and received much buzz in the blogosphere. He currently lives in New York City and is producing his newest E.P.s to be released in 2014.
