Al Parkinson and Dan Arnott (The Royal Parks) have been mates for years, and wrote this song together after reflecting on a time when the complexities of relationships got in the way of friendship. Space Oddity Written by David Bowie 

I was due to head to the US to play SXSW when it was suddenly cancelled due to Covid-19, quickly followed by the continuing stream of emails of everything being cancelled in the music industry for the rest of the year. Then came my casual job, now closed until September. Suddenly left with no income stream at all, my partner gave me the idea to offer 'Pay What You Feel' acoustic covers for fans. I've now done nearly 50 and I decided to chose my favourite one so far to release properly which is Space Oddity by David Bowie(one of my all time favourite artists). This was requested as a birthday gift and I had a lot of fun making it.
