Hey, my name is Markus. In the past I've made Metal, Punk and Heavy Rock with my friends in my garage. I played the bass guitar and sometimes vocals. But that was way back (in the 90s). Now I produce my own songs at home and upload them. The music styles are from Metal, Punk, Rock to House and Dance, just everything I like. I would be happy if my songs are heard and positive feedback comes. I am also interested in cooperation and publish acapellas at looperman.com

Born in 1980 under the name KRT, the band began its journey in the raw energy of live shows — in Spain, including a memorable concert in Burgos, and in Brussels at the Teatro. Those early years, intense and furious, were wiped away overnight: all archives, tapes, posters, and memories stolen in a single car theft, as if someone had tried to erase history itself.

By the late ’80s and early ’90s, the group found shelter in the former RKM studio on Avenue Molière in Brussels, under the demanding ear of artistic producer Jean-Claude Maury. From those sessions emerged Fast Beat and The Ballad of the Mouse and the Bird, defining tracks that carved NUR’s sound into stone — dark, restless, untamed.

After a split and years of silence, the band resurfaced under the name NUR, carried this time by the new promise of the digital age. The music could no longer be erased; it was destined to survive.

But fate struck again: the passing of one of the founding members closed the collective chapter. Today, NUR rises once more, as a solo incarnation. More than a project: a resurrection. A flame still burning, more than forty years after its first spark.

We are a small recording studio in the middle of the beautiful nature in Ljutomer, Slovenija. Besides recording sessions, we offer online mixing and mastering services. Please don't hesitate to contact us for more information and special prices.

Joe and Barry met in 2003, near Portsmouth, when they both started studying a BTEC in music together. After completing the course in 2005, they remained good friends even when Joe moved back to Birmingham. Joined by a love of music and sport, using both as an excuse to meet up as much as possible. Over the years they have played music together on and off, whether it was local gigs in Birmingham or recording new music. Due to the distance, playing new music was difficult to do regularly. In 2019, they recorded a 4 track EP. It was released in March 2020 and gives an introduction to the current line up of Hope Street. 

Early into the Covid lockdown in 2020, Joe and Barry, now both armed with recording software, started sending demos to each other. They quickly realised that they had a collection of songs that they were happy with and started working towards recording the 11 track album Silence & Chaos, scheduled to be released in December 2020. Uploading the songs as they were individually finished to Soundcloud and Instagram and receiving mostly good comments from the online community, 

Hope Street are looking forward to the future and are already working towards their next project.

👉We are an eclectic band that blends elements of electronic dance, metal, pop, punk, rock, synth wave and more to create a unique and engaging sound (..🎧 listen and decide for yourself… if you're ready for the journey)! Our identities are top-secret (..more or less😅), forgive us, we're a bunch of very shy aliens🛸 (4 males 💁🏻‍♂️🙎‍♂️🙋🏼‍♂️🦸🏼‍♂️ and 1 female🙅‍♀️, the guitarist/backup singer). Our earthly names (and nicknames) are Tom ("Lucifer" - lead vocals and occasional keyboards/guitar), Mary ("Vampira" or just "V" - guitarist and backing vocals), Mauro ("Maux" - keyboards, piano, synths and winds), Davide ("Dave", "Quiet D" or just "D" - bass and synth bass), and Valerio ("Brad", drums and percussions). And you definitely DON'T want to know the origin of some of our nicknames!😅
