Emerging from the darkest depths of The Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England, Toadstool are a three piece contemporary hard-rock band. Fusing together an abundance of retrospective and modern hard rock influences.
 
Heavy riff flavoured based songs, with strong melodic hooks, blues rock influences and just a hint of progressive rock. Primary influences include Led Zeppelin, Rush, T-Rex and Wolfmother.

Toadstool are a hard working live act, touring the length of the UK in established venues they are known for their high energy live shows, and gain more fans with each performance.
 
May 2015 saw Toadstool release their debut album 'The Lady Electric'.

Singer Songwriter Mike Edwards, aka Bay Sickly, now teamed up with Buck TimeMaster (guitar) & Harry Grape (drums)in newly formed (2019) band Small Dogs Bite, presenting eccentric, original and quirky songs about life, the world, politics, plastic surgery and elephants (but not necessarily in that order).  We've been musicians since landing on earth in the 1980s. Mike's an accomplished bass player, having played in several bands including Rigadoo!,  All 3 Cylinders, Earl, The Outcast Band, Luke Warm & The Reception, District 13 & Miami Beast.   Buck TimeMaster has for many years played in the acclaimed R & R Band and Harry Grape has played in Nice n Sleazy, Who Tribute, & many other bands.   Small Dogs Bite are a high energy post-punk-prog band - Our songs will make you laugh, cry and scratch your head with puzzlement... what IS going on in these guys' heads?    A sort of cross between Billy Bragg, Ian Dury, XTC and half a bottle of Dandelion and Burdock.
