Trad.Attack! - "Reied" (Living room session 21.11.13)

a 9 year collaboration between producer, musician and song writer Jody Lloyd and myself. The majority of this album was written and recorded in 1997-98 when Jody and I were neighbors in Christchurch, NZ. Distance and other endeavors separated the project and a few more sessions happened in 2000-2001, and again in 2005 to complete our Irish/Pacifica soundtrack....

This album was created during four special days at Jonny’s family home in Strathdon where we played ‘live’.  The aim was to capture the energy of the Highland fiddle and the atmosphere of our historic surroundings.  This approach to traditional music has resulted in a fresh and dynamic recording.
