Neither being fully contemporary or fully urban, D.I.S.C.I.P.L.E continues to push the boundaries of Gospel music in Australia. 

Accrediting Kirk Franklin as the trigger point to starting out, following the footsteps of the contemporary gospel songwriter seemed eminent. However trying to fund a team didn't seem practical for a 16 year old with no income, so venturing out into the urban sector of music was the plan to network, build rapport and find artists. As the years went on, the passion for hard hitting lyrics began to take over and contemporary music took a back seat for a season. In 2011, 5 years after starting out and a music diploma under his belt, D.I.S.C.I.P.L.E revived his contemporary aspirations with a twist of urban flows.

Following the success of the debut album "In Their Shoes" - The Epilogue [2012], doors opened up that allowed D.I.S.C.I.P.L.E to branch out and minister on a wider scale. This led to becoming a  support act for Kid Ink & Mary Mary. A tour in Ghana in 2013 was next on the agenda where D.I.S.C.I.P.L.E got reacquainted with his roots. The experience led him to change up his sound and write music that not only has a contemporary/urban flow but also incorporates some flavours of Africa. These flavours led to the conception of popular single "Chale How!?"

Now going on to 10 years in this journey and multiple awards attained from different parts of the globe, the creativity and desire for the gospel to be spread will only continue for this theology breaking artist.

Ryan Romeo has been a worship leader for nearly ten years. After being involved as a graphic designer with musicians like The David Crowder*Band and Kari Jobe, Ryan began work on his first release. Stemming from a time of missionary work, the song "God of Our Fire" comes out of Ephesians 5:14 and carries this theme throughout the EP. Having taught in the missions organization YWAM and elsewhere, Ryan continues to be passionate about a true, self-sacrificing worship of God, and his passion for asking the Church to return to a love toward one-another as well as the world around. 

After years of playing his songs in local churches, Ryan and friend Chris Giambelluca decided to embark on a privately produced EP. The raw drive of songs like "Passion" mix with the anthemic melodies in "Our God Reigns" creating a sound that is uniquely their own. 

I'm just a normal fellow currently residing in the Austin area.  I have an appreciation for all genres of music.  I am currently working on some original Christian Contemporary music that isn't so contemporary.  Any comments or feedback is welcome and appreciated.
