Messenger Down is the stage name and musical outlet of Charlotte, NC based alternative pop artist Garrett Foster. Pairing raw instrumentation and soaring melodies with electronic soundscapes and pop sensibility, Foster creates a diverse and eclectic sound that seamlessly dances between synthpop, indie rock, alternative R&B, emo, hip-hop, and funk.

Established in 2012, the singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist has self-released three EP's, a handful of singles along the way, and has spent the last year and a half recording new music. With the newly released singles "Where You Been?" and "Ride," and what one can only assume to be an album on the way for 2018, it would be wise to keep your eyes on Messenger Down.

Formed in 1994 by Bob Becker, Fearless Records initially became known for launching the careers of respected punk rock acts such as Plain White T's, At The Drive-In, Bigwig, The Aquabats, and Sugarcult. In recent years, the Huntington Beach, CA label has become an internationally-renowned hotbed for up-and-coming rock bands, including Breathe Carolina, The Maine, Mayday Parade, The Word Alive, Motionless In White, Alesana and Every Avenue. The label recently signed multi-platinum act EVE 6. Fearless Records is also home to the "Punk Goes Series," which is one of the top themed compilation series available.
