N/A is a new electronic music project by Mac Tire and DISTRACTION that combines both their respective genres and skills.

Based in Belfast Dead Prophets Society mixes Alt-Rock swagger with lyrics for head and heart.  Believing strongly in 'one take' recordings and listing diverse influences including Pearl Jam, Counting Crows, Tom Waits, Vigilantes of Love, Dog's D'amour, Foo Fighters and The Boomtown Rats. Dead Prophets Society's music is recognised for its raw energy, melody and honesty.

The Model Home is a long-distance collaboration between Kilgour’s Fionn Crossan and producer Caolán Austin. A preoccupation with the human condition, deciphering the inner workings of a malfunctioning brain and an obsession with melody have compelled the pair to beam ideas back and forth across the Irish Sea via the internet, letting their collective stream of consciousness pour out and take shape under the guise of experimental-folk songs.

Using an exuberant palette of sounds, the pair combine acoustic guitars, muted pianos, vintage synthesizers, drum machines, tape loops and found sound collected on early morning skate sessions to adorn their musings and send them out into the world, falling on receptive ears.

Taking a nod from Big Thief, Elliott Smith, Bibio and Fionn Regan; the pair create an intimate, yet cinematic sound world all while being 200 miles away in their respective bedrooms in Derry, Ireland and Glasgow, Scotland.
