SLOW BRICKER has started its activities in 2009, when Lucas Lizot (vocalist and guitarist) and Rafael Ritter (bassist) found Jonas Bustince to play the drums. After this initial formation, the band tried to include another guitarist, but it ended up as trio; a power trio. 
In the end of the same year, they started composing songs mixing influences of alternative rock, stoner rock, punk/hardcore with progressive rock and noise elements. By this point they decided to name the band “Pedra Surpresa”. In 2010, they had their first shows in bars and festivals in Rio Grande do Sul - Brazil, but they decided to change their name to SLOW BRICKER. According to the band, this name fitted better the kind of music they were developing.
