A killer performance, ranging from housey minimal tracks to acid blasting electro!

Alex is a musician, producer and DJ, born and based in the mediterranean side of Valencia, Spain.

He started his musical career back in 2000, buying his first records and playing them in intimate venues around Valencia. Four years later he started playing at the cities top venues: Barraca, Puzzle, Guru and Queen (where he was resident DJ for a few years).
 
Strongly influenced by Latin-American music and Jazz, Font has created a sound blending these influences with Minimal and House music.

In 2015 Alex created Acmé, a vinyl only label that quickly gained notoriety in the minimal-house underground scene, supported and played by legends like Ricardo Villalobos, Rhadoo, Cabanne and Ohm Hourani to name a few.

Sunday Sessions Vol. 1 is a soulful, genre-blending journey curated by Johannesburg-based music producer and songwriter Realcal-SA. Rooted in deep house, the album flows effortlessly through jazzy house, Afrohouse, hip-hop, and drill rap, capturing the reflective spirit of a Sunday while still carrying the pulse of the city.

Warm chords, deep basslines, and hypnotic rhythms set the foundation, while jazz-inspired textures and Afrocentric grooves add richness and depth. The hip-hop and drill elements bring street-level storytelling—raw, honest, and grounded in everyday Jozi life—creating a balance between introspection and urban energy.

Sunday Sessions Vol. 1 is more than just a collection of tracks; it’s a mood. Designed for late afternoons, sunset drives, chilled sessions, and deep listening, the album reflects Realcal-SA’s versatility and vision—bridging soulful house culture with modern African street sounds. This is the sound of Johannesburg breathing slowly on a Sunday.
