Sunday Sessions Vol. 1 is a soulful, genre-blending journey curated by Johannesburg-based music producer and songwriter Realcal-SA. Rooted in deep house, the album flows effortlessly through jazzy house, Afrohouse, hip-hop, and drill rap, capturing the reflective spirit of a Sunday while still carrying the pulse of the city.

Warm chords, deep basslines, and hypnotic rhythms set the foundation, while jazz-inspired textures and Afrocentric grooves add richness and depth. The hip-hop and drill elements bring street-level storytelling—raw, honest, and grounded in everyday Jozi life—creating a balance between introspection and urban energy.

Sunday Sessions Vol. 1 is more than just a collection of tracks; it’s a mood. Designed for late afternoons, sunset drives, chilled sessions, and deep listening, the album reflects Realcal-SA’s versatility and vision—bridging soulful house culture with modern African street sounds. Oculus is one of the titans of the Icelandic techno scene and has been one of its key foundations for over a decade. His live shows have captivated the audience with his exemplarary mixture of deep, innovative and hypnotic techno. His productions skills are unquestionable and we‘re excited to bring you four techno anthems ready to conquer the late night dancefloors.    

Nostalgia is a nod to the older days. Subtle blend of hypnotic mysticism and Detroit-style techno – a instant afterhours anthem! Rydgad is a handy tool for the DJs who love to throw a little swag to their crowd. Its minimal, but still offers a lot of little tricks to make the room work. Morph gets dark and twisted - with Oculus‘s hypnotic voice reassuring the listener in his native tongue that the he is the all-seeing eye of the Icelandic techno scene. The EP ends with the minimalistic mind-twister of „Flod“ – completing the first odyssey of Æ Recordings LTD.

To celebrate 3 years of existence, Ojoo has assembled a 3-part compilation of 12 minimalistic house and techno tracks that heighten perception and spark links between the dancefloor and the decks. The 3 EPs carry us through each phase of a late summer day-into-night.

In 2021 CLIKNO celebrates its 5th anniversary and presents with its 10th release a very special acoustic techno EP from Dr.Nojoke entitled “Muaco.
Muaco stands for Music against Corona and deals with the clubless time we are all experiencing.

When Dr.Nojoke picked up his Höfner acoustic guitar during the lockdown in spring he was looking for new inspirations. The recordings led to three brilliant poly-rhythmical tracks for a special trip far off the beaten path. 
Dr.Nojoke suggests his EP as much as a way for home-clubbing as well as a listening experience. We don´t even know, if it is techno or what, but as mostly all parts were created with acoustic guitar you may file it under acoustic techno or guitar techno.

We think it is just great groovy music - pulsating, hypnotic, danceable, kraut-ish, freaky - that should be played everywhere.
