Aliens in Denmark (AiD) are 3 DJ's; DJ One, En-Jay Tea and Master Piper, all British and living in Denmark.
DJ One, was part of the UK Drum & Bass scene for many years. He started DJing in his hometown of London, playing old skool/jungle vibes in the early 90's, gradually moved through a variety of genres, including hip-hop, happy-hardcore, he found a home with his biggest love, drum & bass and breaks. He has worked and played alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, including Andy-C, Grooverider, Fabio, Mickey Finn and many more, promoting and DJing at many successful nights. DJ One is a  lover of scratching and fast mixing, which can often be heard within the mixes by AiD.
En-Jay Tea grew up in Brighton on a diet of 80's hip-hop and 90's big-beat scene. Spinning various musical styles over the years, he cut his teeth playing at parties and beach bars while traveling Asia and Central America. He likes mixing up ghetto funk, breaks and old school hip-hop with electro and glitch-hop.
Master Piper was raised on reggae, jazz, funk, and soul. His eclectic musical background combines with a love of the electronic music that began in the 90’s. He found his home in the style of turntablism and the music melting pot that is hip-hop and began cutting up the mix through out the ‘00s in the South West UK and Germany. He plays an eclectic mix of music genres from breakbeat to big-beat; slipping in and out of the underground whilst embracing new musical sounds and styles.
Nowadays, AiD focus on all sorts of funkiness. Not attached to a single genre, instead playing a wide range of styles from Ghetto Funk, electro-swing and funky breaks, all the way to jungle and Drum & Bass!!!
Currently our goal is to spread the word of breaks and ghetto funk throughout Denmark, working to bring something different to DK, other than pop and hip hop!!!

Life Before Lockouts.

So I’ve been playing in Sydney clubs for the better part of ten years and in that time so much amazing talent has been born out of the scene in this city. World famous artists who began with Kings Cross residencies, Duo’s who met on the dancefloor, DJ’s who went home and wrote hit records after a night of inspiration in our once vibrant nightlife. I wanted to put together a mix paying tribute to these people. The duos’ that may never have met, the songs that may never have been made and the DJs who might have followed a different path if these laws had been in place ten years ago. It’s been so amazing to watch how the city has come together to rally against these laws in recent weeks. All to make a change, so that hopefully we don’t miss out on the next crop of outstanding club talent that this city may have to offer in the years to come. The music in this mix is all from artists raised in the culture of a once vibrant Sydney nightlife and for each track included there are a hundred more that could be added. I hope that you can listen and look back over the years, being thankful for some of the music and artists our city has produced. I hope that it inspires you, like they continue to inspire me.

This raucous trio of renowned turntable killers will be blowing up main stages across the UK and beyond this summer, coming through in full effect to get those bassbins seriously booming.

A bass music icon from the days of his Platinum-selling UK garage anthem I Don't Smoke Da Reefer, Deekline recently released (with Ed Solo) new album Bounce 'n' Shake, a tour de force of booty bass, jungle, soul, breaks, dubstep, drumstep and drum 'n' bass sent down with the kind of assurance one might expect from a DJ who has sent bodies flying round the room at club venues across the globe for more than a decade. Expect brazen and bombastic badboy anthems accompanied by skilled, selective scratch techniques capable of hyping up even the most taciturn of crowds from an artist who recently proved his hipster credentials with remixes for the likes of Lethal Bizzle and Laidback Luke.

Joining Deekline on stage will be partner in crime Ed Solo, an expert studio guru whose sublime engineering skills are equalled only by his nack for a booty-bouncing hook and an ability to throw down on the turntables. Our final Hot Cakes Live decknician is two-time UK DMC champ JFC, who will be slipping his unique brand of turntable exhibitionism into the mix. Described by no less than Fatboy Slim as "The Thinking Man's Grandmaster Flash", this Brighton-based DJ and producer is a scratch daddy for the bass music generation, an artist who is as likely to beat juggle dubstep rollers as he is to throw down live remixes of classic hip-shaking 12"s (check out his barmy take on DJ Shadow's Midnight in a Perfect World or infamous four-turntable reworking of Fatboy Slim's Right Here Right Now on YouTube for a taste of what to expect). With releases on iconic labels such as Hospital records, Rat Records, Skint Records, Hot Cakes and GhettoFunk, JFB has DJed all over the world from LoveBox and Glastonbury to Canada's iconic Shambhala and Bestival's Big Top Stage, where he's a huge favourite. Founded by Boe Pedersen (Dj BadboE) in Denmark, and now based in Florida. The label originates from the music website Breakbeat Paradise that has been running since 1996. Breakbeat Paradise is dedicated to breakers and electronic musicians within the style of music that we can loosely term as breakbeat. Developing and improving this website over the last 10 years to include everything from visitor music sharing, annual breakbeat contests, samplekits and discussion forum. We felt that going into digital music distribution would be a natural next step.

The music material on the Breakbeat Paradise website has over 1000 pieces of music. Breakbeat Paradise Recordings will  pick up the very best  “cream of the crop”, artists  and tunes and release them as digital downloads through Breakbeat Paradise Recordings  collaborative partners . We found digital distribution would match perfect with our cutting-edge funky breakbeat music and the fastest way from  the streets – to the listener and dancefloor!

With only exclusive vinyl and digital releases , we are always focused on the most important thing for us – the music! 

The music will span from traditional nu funk and funky breaks to more dancefloor oriented ghetto funk,  future funk and big beat as well as hip hop with a glitch and the more mellow side of the drum ‘n’ bass and nu breaks. The sound of Breakbeat Paradise is driven by an emphatic beat that is intended to form a leitmotif between the releases.

Even though releases from Breakbeat Paradise will be coming from different artists, we always uniform a sound by focusing within the genres of breakbeat.  Collaborators and musicians work close together on our label and we are always ensuring a brand of selective “state of the art“, quality and sound .

We will devote ourselves to deliver the phattest, funkiest and the biggest grooves to be found out there...
