Kenny Beeper aka Big Ken. He’s the kind of guy to give you a satisfyingly painful slap on the back, then buy you a cold one. He’s always on point, known for catching koalas when they fall out of trees with his enormous hands. 

To put it simply, he’s a bloody good sport! Which is why he’s knocked up two banging tracks for free download. Hopefully it’ll keep everyone feeling funk drenched during these turbulent times. 

First up is “Groove Thang”. A succulent mash-up of Zhane and Lauren Hill with some serious P Funk vibes popping along for the parade. Equipped with a modern vibe and backed up with a familiar sound it’s guaranteed to satisfy any dance floor. (When we’re allowed back on them!) 

Hot on its heels is “Get Up & Dance” which is what any damn fool will do when they hear this. He’s taken the tempo up a notch and given the house genre a reach around. Expect serious synth action alongside Bambatta’s Vox resulting in a weighty neck snapper you’ll keep on repeat for weeks.

After releasing the second EP by the Funkin Basstards we though it would be appropriate to follow up with a remix EP of the 4 originals jams from the Drop The Mirrorball EP.To do that in style we hooked up with some of the best producers in the scene to all put their personal twist on these catchy disco bangers.
Starting this off with the label head honcho BadboE who comes heavily armed with the nu skool breaks and some silky smooth disco grooves for the Feel The Vibe track. A classic BadboE treatment with multiple sections of grooves to bring out the very best of the sweet vocals by Sofia Kamina.
To follow this up we&rsquo;ve turned to the true veteran from the funky breaks scene that can do no wrong when it comes to remixing. Jayl Funk is at it again with some well-arranged nu disco flavors to skillfully transform the lead track 2000 feat. Sofia Kamina into a smashing Jayl Funk anthem.
If you want the unspoiled breakbeat funk there is only one remixer to call for: Pecoe. He done a number on the originally mellow Drop The Mirrorball and turned it into a dancefloor breakbeat banger!
Last but not lease we wanted to turn up the heat a bit and invited the Sons of Satin to do some uptempo hardcore breaks remix of the Soul Disco jam.

Tha Fun Police consists of the already well-established artists DJ/Producer Kenny Beeper and MC/lyricist MC Shureshock who has teamed up with countryman DJ/MC Snuze to create some original party rocking funky hip-hop jams.
The Freefall project takes on the current pandemic situation and twists it into a steady rocking funky hip-hop phenomenon. Kenny Beeper is laying the ground-work with a super catchy low-slung funky groove and MC Shureshock does he thing by bringing the vibes and funky flow &ndash; while Snuze comes in with some rapid funky rhymes. The Freefall tune comes with 4 top-of-the-line remixes from some of Australia&rsquo;s finest producers.
Kibosh gives the Freefall his signature glitchy bass treatment, while Pecoe bring his funky party breaks before Spenda C speeds up the breaks and hands it over to the awesome Doctor Werewolf who&rsquo;s smashing us into Drum N Bass inferno.

Founded by Boe Pedersen (Dj BadboE) in Denmark, and now based in Florida. The label originates from the music website Breakbeat Paradise that has been running since 1996. Breakbeat Paradise is dedicated to breakers and electronic musicians within the style of music that we can loosely term as breakbeat. Developing and improving this website over the last 10 years to include everything from visitor music sharing, annual breakbeat contests, samplekits and discussion forum. We felt that going into digital music distribution would be a natural next step.

The music material on the Breakbeat Paradise website has over 1000 pieces of music. Breakbeat Paradise Recordings will  pick up the very best  “cream of the crop”, artists  and tunes and release them as digital downloads through Breakbeat Paradise Recordings  collaborative partners . We found digital distribution would match perfect with our cutting-edge funky breakbeat music and the fastest way from  the streets – to the listener and dancefloor!

With only exclusive vinyl and digital releases , we are always focused on the most important thing for us – the music! 

The music will span from traditional nu funk and funky breaks to more dancefloor oriented ghetto funk,  future funk and big beat as well as hip hop with a glitch and the more mellow side of the drum ‘n’ bass and nu breaks. The sound of Breakbeat Paradise is driven by an emphatic beat that is intended to form a leitmotif between the releases.

Even though releases from Breakbeat Paradise will be coming from different artists, we always uniform a sound by focusing within the genres of breakbeat.  Collaborators and musicians work close together on our label and we are always ensuring a brand of selective “state of the art“, quality and sound .

We will devote ourselves to deliver the phattest, funkiest and the biggest grooves to be found out there...
