Breakbeat Paradise Recording is on a journey of pushing funk and breaks to a new audience and joining forces with Greek-based Nasa Funk who is on the very same journey. Nasa Funk released their Stand Up track on the Funk Originals 12&rdquo; vinyl back in 2016 and is now ready to drop their first full EP on the label.
Nasa Funk who consists of Alexandros Spanidis: drums / Costas Chasiotis: bass / Alexandros Papoulidis: guitar / Charis Kapetanakis: saxophone, keys / Georges Perin: vocals, talkbox has been pushing funk and hiphop to the Greek audience since the late 90s which has earned a big following in though-out Greece. They are now ready to take on the world stage and has cooked up the funk anthem with the Covid relevant title: Gonna Work It. &ldquo;Love will prevail&rdquo; as lead singer Georges Perin puts it on this finger snapping, low-slung funk jam.
To complete the package Nasa Funk has teamed up with some of biggest talents in the electronic funk scene who are all giving their signature twist to the Gonna Work It joint.Starting off with the French producer duo Prosper &amp; Stabfinger who took the track to a completely different dimension by giving it a state-of-the-art nu-disco treatment. Prosper &amp; Stabfinger are known for their funky flavors and has recently journeyed into the world of disco and this remix is certainly a proof that they feel very much at home in that genre. Next up welcomes back a true BBP veteran and always reliable Jayl Funk who brings the heavy funky beats and skillfully turns the jam into a midtempo banger. Both previously mentioned remixes comewith instrumental mixes.For some alternative remixes Nasa Funk went to local DJ Mount Ten who took a more laid-back and chilled approach on the Gonna Work It track. Finally well known producer Cayetano took the original funk elements to twisted it into a trap jam. Nicolas, founder of the duo Lumière, decides in 2008 to create a new solo project focused on live act and self-production. 
His research is limitless, and allows him to compose scores and jingles.
He doesn't limit himself on a single music genre, challenging himself in original compositions, mashups, and remixes. Creating musical hybrids, he achieves to build his own identity, thanks also to Endrez's graphics. 
He recently entered the musical collective Tha Groovy Basterds.

Founded by Boe Pedersen (Dj BadboE) in Denmark, and now based in Florida. The label originates from the music website Breakbeat Paradise that has been running since 1996. Breakbeat Paradise is dedicated to breakers and electronic musicians within the style of music that we can loosely term as breakbeat. Developing and improving this website over the last 10 years to include everything from visitor music sharing, annual breakbeat contests, samplekits and discussion forum. We felt that going into digital music distribution would be a natural next step.

The music material on the Breakbeat Paradise website has over 1000 pieces of music. Breakbeat Paradise Recordings will  pick up the very best  “cream of the crop”, artists  and tunes and release them as digital downloads through Breakbeat Paradise Recordings  collaborative partners . We found digital distribution would match perfect with our cutting-edge funky breakbeat music and the fastest way from  the streets – to the listener and dancefloor!

With only exclusive vinyl and digital releases , we are always focused on the most important thing for us – the music! 

The music will span from traditional nu funk and funky breaks to more dancefloor oriented ghetto funk,  future funk and big beat as well as hip hop with a glitch and the more mellow side of the drum ‘n’ bass and nu breaks. The sound of Breakbeat Paradise is driven by an emphatic beat that is intended to form a leitmotif between the releases.

Even though releases from Breakbeat Paradise will be coming from different artists, we always uniform a sound by focusing within the genres of breakbeat.  Collaborators and musicians work close together on our label and we are always ensuring a brand of selective “state of the art“, quality and sound .

We will devote ourselves to deliver the phattest, funkiest and the biggest grooves to be found out there...

Georges Perin 


Born in Greece (1978) the Greek-French Georges Perin (Γιώργος Περίν) has been a funk-soul-r&b vocalist and recording artist since 1994. As a member of numerous musical bands (Kashmir, Nasa Funk, Basement Freaks, Cayetano live band among others) and through diverse music collaborations he has performed more than 1000 gigs in various countries next to some of the biggest names of the funk/blues scene. Founder and owner of WeFunk! records, he still performs as a recording artist, songwriter, harmonica and talkbox player, having achieved airplay from some of the biggest radio stations (BBC1-UK) and TV shows worldwide (NBC-USA). He performed as a member of support groups next to James Brown, the herbalizer, Dub Fx and many more and shared the stage with artists like David Garibaldi (Tower of Power) and Mick Taylor (The Rolling Stones). Mostly known in Greece for singing the chorus of the hip hop hit “oti ehoume eimaste emeis” (Voria asteria) he also performed lately alongside the Greek rock band “MPLE” and shared the stage (as an orchestra singer) with many Greek artists like Thodoris Voutsikakis, Nantia Boule, Nina Lotsari and many more. He released a duet in 2020 with Ashley Slater (Freak Power), been featured on Mix Mag, Soul Mag, Athens voice and many other established press & digital media and gained credits from artists like Stereo Mc’s, Bob Sinclar, Kraak & Smaak & the Funk Hunters among others.
