Breakbeat Paradise Recording is very excited to introduce the very first 7 inch vinyl release by the talent is British DJ producer Gramophone Soul.

In a new hot series of 7 inch vinyls we're ready to drop the second volume of the Toxic Funk to follow up after BadboE and Tom Showtime release that drop last year.
At BBP we've had our eyes on Gramophone Soul for a while and with his always on point productions and ability to always put the right samples together. That is a skill allows him to remix pretty much any genre of music and has earned him airtime in mixes by industry leaders like Krafty Kuts and Craig Charles on BBC.

With the second installment of the Toxic - Funk Gramophone Soul has cooked up two epic jams starting out with hard-hitting remix of the soulful Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay - mixed up with some classic vocals by the Beasties and some heavy hitting ghetto funk beats. That combined with some energetic bouncy bass lines makes this an instant classic for the dance floors.

The flipside takes a completely different approach by diving deep into the rare groove treasure chest and pick out a 60s sample on the epic Fire Cracker tune. Gramophone Soul does what he does best by changing just enough to keep it interesting for modern audience without destroying the groove of the original track. Rocking steady it's all it's 3 minutes and 32 seconds seconds of glory - this track will be should to get on your mind for a while.

Breakbeat Paradise Recording is on a journey of pushing funk and breaks to a new audience and joining forces with Greek-based Nasa Funk who is on the very same journey. Nasa Funk released their Stand Up track on the Funk Originals 12&rdquo; vinyl back in 2016 and is now ready to drop their first full EP on the label.
Nasa Funk who consists of Alexandros Spanidis: drums / Costas Chasiotis: bass / Alexandros Papoulidis: guitar / Charis Kapetanakis: saxophone, keys / Georges Perin: vocals, talkbox has been pushing funk and hiphop to the Greek audience since the late 90s which has earned a big following in though-out Greece. They are now ready to take on the world stage and has cooked up the funk anthem with the Covid relevant title: Gonna Work It. &ldquo;Love will prevail&rdquo; as lead singer Georges Perin puts it on this finger snapping, low-slung funk jam.
To complete the package Nasa Funk has teamed up with some of biggest talents in the electronic funk scene who are all giving their signature twist to the Gonna Work It joint.Starting off with the French producer duo Prosper &amp; Stabfinger who took the track to a completely different dimension by giving it a state-of-the-art nu-disco treatment. Prosper &amp; Stabfinger are known for their funky flavors and has recently journeyed into the world of disco and this remix is certainly a proof that they feel very much at home in that genre. Next up welcomes back a true BBP veteran and always reliable Jayl Funk who brings the heavy funky beats and skillfully turns the jam into a midtempo banger. Both previously mentioned remixes comewith instrumental mixes.For some alternative remixes Nasa Funk went to local DJ Mount Ten who took a more laid-back and chilled approach on the Gonna Work It track. Founded by Boe Pedersen (Dj BadboE) in Denmark, and now based in Florida. The label originates from the music website Breakbeat Paradise that has been running since 1996. Breakbeat Paradise is dedicated to breakers and electronic musicians within the style of music that we can loosely term as breakbeat. Developing and improving this website over the last 10 years to include everything from visitor music sharing, annual breakbeat contests, samplekits and discussion forum. We felt that going into digital music distribution would be a natural next step.

The music material on the Breakbeat Paradise website has over 1000 pieces of music. Breakbeat Paradise Recordings will  pick up the very best  “cream of the crop”, artists  and tunes and release them as digital downloads through Breakbeat Paradise Recordings  collaborative partners . We found digital distribution would match perfect with our cutting-edge funky breakbeat music and the fastest way from  the streets – to the listener and dancefloor!

With only exclusive vinyl and digital releases , we are always focused on the most important thing for us – the music! 

The music will span from traditional nu funk and funky breaks to more dancefloor oriented ghetto funk,  future funk and big beat as well as hip hop with a glitch and the more mellow side of the drum ‘n’ bass and nu breaks.
