𝓢𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵𝓮, the free rider of breaks has just opened the doors again to our office at 𝙱𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚔𝚋𝚎𝚊𝚝 𝙿𝚊𝚛𝚊𝚍𝚒𝚜𝚎 𝚁𝚎𝚌𝚘𝚛𝚍𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚜 - and we've got even two solid tunes arriving from him this time! Therefore, we was thinking it would be time to give away two free downloads in this December episode of our ℙ𝕠𝕨𝕖𝕣𝕙𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝔽𝕣𝕖𝕖 𝔻𝕠𝕨𝕟𝕝𝕠𝕒𝕕 series. 

Keeping us all funky as usually, 𝓢𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵𝓮 makes sure that the groove is in our heart... the tune called "𝐺𝑟𝑜𝑜𝑣𝑒 𝐼𝑠 𝐼𝑛" takes the original club classic and transfers it to a brand new dimension with a unique, chopped arrangement and happy, wobbly, fat bass-line... Meanwhile, the track namely "𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝐼𝑠 𝐴 𝑃𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑦" treats the original with respect and is being measured with crushing drums, crunchy bass and extra musical elements like some added saxophone-action topping the vibes. 

The man working from South Africa, had quite productive a year so far. Having done and participated in several releases on 𝙱𝙱𝙿, 𝓢𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵𝓮 had been finding the time to deliver suiting songs on several independent music labels in 2023. We are happy to announce our collaboration keeps on working with him in 2024 as well. Watch this space, 𝓢𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵𝓮 is one of those artists worth being looked upon!

Welcome to the Good Love symphony of Cosmic Yum! This is a delicious collaboration of musicians and producers, spanning time, space and sound, for the enjoyment of all beings! 

This original cosmic journey begins with a big bang of ideas that travelled through many dimensions with genuine intentions of love and goodness before discovering the vocal bliss of Nada- Leigh Nasser. The original was launched featuring the groove frequencies of Captain Vibe on bass and guitar and complimented by Bongo Loco and Timewarp inc on keys. 

Travelling to a nearby star, the original was embellished and remixed by Omegaman, transforming the track into a multiverse of doof dub reggae. Folding the fabric of sound, Tom Drummond masterfully recomposes the track with a lush tropical pan drum funk remix. The track then traverses to the planet of Jayl Funk, who lays down his quantum funky breakbeat remix to get fingers snapping and toes tapping. Meanwhile, back on Earth, Mind Electric's club disco remix is waiting to launch...

After the release of the epic Paul Sitter album: Hip-Hop Delivery in 2023 &ndash; it was only natural to call upon some of the best remixers in our scene to put their twist on these timeless originals. Breakbeat Paradise Recordings is proud to introduce the vol. 1 out of 2 upcoming remixes package featuring a large range of styles from various corners of the electronic funk music scene.
Starting out with a true legend All Good Funk Alliance, who has taken the Go Move track featuring Andy Copper for a funky joy ride though some classic breaks and funky grooves. Followed by a big atmospheric redo of Global Chemistry by Mined Music who&rsquo;s taken a melodic hiphop twist on the otherwise oldskool original. The funky supersonic beat force Sonale came in on point as he turns the King Of Rock into his own on a beat and bass heavy funky remix. Freethinker Funk Essence takes a more chillout approach on one of the more instrumental track on the album called Nothing Gonna Change His Way.Roast Beatz takes it back on the floor with the dance friendly funky house remix of the Go Move&nbsp;featuring&nbsp;Andy Cooper on some classic disco funk grooves.Finally we see UK-based Towlie DJ taking the wicked B-Boy Impressions on a funky Drum &lsquo;N&rsquo; Bass ride to firmly conclude the first volume of the Hip Hop Delivery remixes. The last few years have seen The Niceguys in prodigious form, redefining their sound through an acclaimed musical output. Now they take time to reflect by inviting some of their favourite artists to reinterpret their work for this 'Remixed EP'. First up, production duo CMC & Silenta reimagine 'Strip It'. They skilfully preserve its funk-laden goodness injecting new life into the mix with tantalizing guitar licks, irresistible synth hooks and a beefed-up bottom end that serves as the perfect foundation for the soul-laden vocals of Bobby Saint and smooth flow of Prop Dylan. Funk Maestro Jayl Funk takes to the controls for his rework of 'Don't Let Go' in which he takes the tempo down a little, adds some horn hooks and a swinging grove to bring out the best from Justina Lee Brown's amazing vocal performance, creating a nu-funk masterpiece. Next up, Jack & Jointz toughen up the infectious 'Dance' adding breakbeat elements and organ riffs to drive along Leo's neo-soul vocals, aiming squarely at the dancefloor. Finally, rounding off the package is the classic remix of Irie by Flevans. He strips things back before building them up with a high level of musicality in a groove-heavy remix that is equally at home in a club or home listening. All in all a perfect way to round up The Niceguy's releases to date whilst we wait with anticipation for the next phase of their musical journey.

Founded by Boe Pedersen (Dj BadboE) in Denmark, and now based in Florida. The label originates from the music website Breakbeat Paradise that has been running since 1996. Breakbeat Paradise is dedicated to breakers and electronic musicians within the style of music that we can loosely term as breakbeat. Developing and improving this website over the last 10 years to include everything from visitor music sharing, annual breakbeat contests, samplekits and discussion forum. We felt that going into digital music distribution would be a natural next step.

The music material on the Breakbeat Paradise website has over 1000 pieces of music. Breakbeat Paradise Recordings will  pick up the very best  “cream of the crop”, artists  and tunes and release them as digital downloads through Breakbeat Paradise Recordings  collaborative partners . We found digital distribution would match perfect with our cutting-edge funky breakbeat music and the fastest way from  the streets – to the listener and dancefloor!

With only exclusive vinyl and digital releases , we are always focused on the most important thing for us – the music! 

The music will span from traditional nu funk and funky breaks to more dancefloor oriented ghetto funk,  future funk and big beat as well as hip hop with a glitch and the more mellow side of the drum ‘n’ bass and nu breaks. The sound of Breakbeat Paradise is driven by an emphatic beat that is intended to form a leitmotif between the releases.

Even though releases from Breakbeat Paradise will be coming from different artists, we always uniform a sound by focusing within the genres of breakbeat.  Collaborators and musicians work close together on our label and we are always ensuring a brand of selective “state of the art“, quality and sound .
