As we are working our way though &ndash; hopefully the last sprint of the lockdowns we though it would be only right to provide a soundtrack to that. So we&rsquo;ve invited our funky brother from down under MC Shureshock who has teamed up with 2 funky brothers from France: Prosper &amp; Stabfinger who has brought the funky disco backing track to the Lockdown jam.
Starting off with the epic House Vocal mix, which perfectly showcases the funky disco house flavors that Prosper and Stabfinger has perfected over the last couple of years. The catchy disco vibes goes perfectly with the funky oldskool rap flow from our very own MC Shureshock.
MC Shureshock was active on the Fun Police EP that dropped last year where he a joined forces with Kenny Beeper, who is responsible for co-producing the Breaks Mix on this EP, which makes a nice alternative for the breakbeat DJs.
We go full circle on this one and the Lockdown jam comes with a big re-funk from Kid Kenobi from Australia, who brought some big basslines and big vibes.
Finally both the house mix and breaks mix comes with instrumental version for the DJs to get creative in the mix.

Now firmly established within the Bombstrikes family, Parisian funksters Prosper & Stabfinger return with their latest batch of high quality jams in the form of ‘Down in the Basement Ep’. While managing to find a home in a sweet spot somewhere along the range between Funk and Disco, each track manages to capture a vintage feel, yet retains crisp modern production styles. First up is the title track ‘Down in The Basement’ which features the vocal talents of Awoke over a solid 4/4 groove and the duo’s funked out full band production. ‘Lucky Six’ delivers a flow from Lions Pride and music which sublimely transports the listener back to the original sound of NYC block parties and the early origins of Hip Hop and B-Boy culture. Finally, there is a remix of Boggie Bugi by Fedorovski (LouLou Records/Delicious) which turns up the arpeggio to create a heavier synth laden dance floor smash. Once again the duo have delivered the goods in their own unique style.

Nicolas, founder of the duo Lumière, decides in 2008 to create a new solo project focused on live act and self-production. 
His research is limitless, and allows him to compose scores and jingles.
He doesn't limit himself on a single music genre, challenging himself in original compositions, mashups, and remixes. Creating musical hybrids, he achieves to build his own identity, thanks also to Endrez's graphics. 
He recently entered the musical collective Tha Groovy Basterds.
He's currently collaborating with Funy Ox (BInome-audiotrix Expressillon) in a new techno project: Binome. He cooperates also with Konix (Audiotrix - I.o.t / Double Scotch); K.D.S (Break Your Pressure, BeBop Swing.Knobz and Tha Groovy Basterds); Midilink (Audiotrix / Iot record); Audioflow (Maison Des Musiques Alternatives, Conscience Collective Production); Maxx Pony a.k.a Timakz (Deathproof Recordings,Jay's records); BuzzKilla - Skimfish (Animal en Cage // kozen prod);  Drdado (Ovnivor 09(Fr), Slow Deep Rec(It), HighTunesRoma (It), Vsp Rec. Founded by Boe Pedersen (Dj BadboE) in Denmark, and now based in Florida. The label originates from the music website Breakbeat Paradise that has been running since 1996. Breakbeat Paradise is dedicated to breakers and electronic musicians within the style of music that we can loosely term as breakbeat. Developing and improving this website over the last 10 years to include everything from visitor music sharing, annual breakbeat contests, samplekits and discussion forum. We felt that going into digital music distribution would be a natural next step.

The music material on the Breakbeat Paradise website has over 1000 pieces of music. Breakbeat Paradise Recordings will  pick up the very best  “cream of the crop”, artists  and tunes and release them as digital downloads through Breakbeat Paradise Recordings  collaborative partners . We found digital distribution would match perfect with our cutting-edge funky breakbeat music and the fastest way from  the streets – to the listener and dancefloor!

With only exclusive vinyl and digital releases , we are always focused on the most important thing for us – the music! 

The music will span from traditional nu funk and funky breaks to more dancefloor oriented ghetto funk,  future funk and big beat as well as hip hop with a glitch and the more mellow side of the drum ‘n’ bass and nu breaks. The sound of Breakbeat Paradise is driven by an emphatic beat that is intended to form a leitmotif between the releases.

Even though releases from Breakbeat Paradise will be coming from different artists, we always uniform a sound by focusing within the genres of breakbeat.  Collaborators and musicians work close together on our label and we are always ensuring a brand of selective “state of the art“, quality and sound .

We will devote ourselves to deliver the phattest, funkiest and the biggest grooves to be found out there...
