Exclusive for radiOzora, welcome The Scratchy Shwoopy Gloopy Side of AEONIUM. As an eclectic listener and producer, Aeonium is one of the many project of Dutch sound artist Maurits "Momo" Nieuwenhuis. In Aeonium he experiments in the psychedelic sphere with fusions of genres, synthesizing the natural and spiritualizing the synthetic. Inspired by elements from many cultures, genres and continuously experimenting upon them and their fusions, Aeonium builds tracks for both listening and dancing, keeping the mind engaged yet the body stimulated. Listen to the many layers in all of his works and see if you can identify the many field recordings and electronic elements, identify the different cultural elements from all over the world and most importantly how they may move your mind and body. As Aeonium is a diverse but coherent project, this mix presents a certain angle on Aeonium; the glitchy funky bassline side.

From Deep Down the Rabbit Hole, Seldon presents GIANCARLO DI CHIARA. With his old alias DJ Pin, he begins to mix music in 2002 and plays in various clubs with important international DJs like Tony Humphries, Marshall Jefferson, Justin Berkmann or Italian DJ Noferini. After stopping DJing in 2004, he comes back into the music world only in 2016, starts studying music, releasing his first tracks. In 2018 he launches his first label Music4Aliens (from where most of the tracks of this mix came from), bringing his label into the ranking of the best labels. Later the Music4Aliens family grows with the creation of Music4Clubbers, Music4Aliens Black and Psy4Aliens, covering all techno and psychedelic genres. In September 2021 he creates his side project AKA the Alien. After several top 100 releases with his own name, in 2022 he starts to dedicate more time to music production, collecting the first top 100 peak track chart on Beatport with his last single "Alone in the Darkness", and all the faster techno charts with his alias AKA the Alien. In 2023 he plans to be more active in the scene as a DJ. Forced to refuse several shows over the years, he came back as a DJ at the Music4Aliens Label Night 2022 in August (Italy).

This Hadra Records Session is by NE YAM. Mickaël aka Ne Yam was rocked by music from a very young age, and embarked on this adventure in 2018. He underwent intensive training and obtained a MAO creator diploma which he immediately applied in the field. Very quickly, he got to play at the Son Libre Festival 2018 followed by tracks seeing the day on the famous Serbian label Tesseract Studio. Particularly attentive to his quality of production, his musical universe encompasses progressive psytrance, sometimes going towards zenonesque or psytechno sounds. His musical journey continues today with the Hadra Records team with many upcoming projects on the label. About this mix Ne Yam says: "It gathers most of my releases from 2020 to 2022, as well as some unreleased tracks like my next EP "Machines Calling" which will be released soon on Hadra Records. I also added a selection of tracks from artists I particularly like such as Freedom Fighters, MVMB, Morten Granau..."

Dubmission presents MARK CHURCHER. Amongst other projects, Mark Churcher is one half of mid 90s electronic Dub band V-Neck. They are considered, by some, to be a notable link between dub, ambient and techno before sub genres like dub techno and dubstep became fully established. As well as gaining fans like Aphex Twin, they have been on complication albums alongside the likes of Adrian Sherwood, The Mad Professor, Luke Vibert and Muslimgauze. In recent years Mark has resurrected the Emote label to re-issue V-Neck and release lost recordings as well as new material. He also runs a vintage sounding acid label called Chicago Bee and makes acid under the name A-Eno-Acid.

MARK CHURCHER | Dubmission Records Series Ep. 32 | 07/12/2022

This Disco Gecko Recordings episode features ANIMAT @ Ozora 2022. Sheffield’s cinematic soundtrackers Mark Daly and Michael Harding worked together from 2005 to 2021, establishing a reputation in the UK for their unique live re-score events, performing at cinemas, festivals and other venues across the country with cult films including Dark Star (John Carpenter), Belleville Rendezvous (Sylvain Chomet), Un Homme Qui Dort (Bernard Queysanne) and The Straight Story (David Lynch). Animat's final live set is a tribute to Michael Harding, one half of the band who sadly passed away early in 2021. Michael's enthusiasm for the booking, originally for the 2020 edition, made Mark Daly determined to play for the last time under the Animat name. In his words: "The crowd, the Ozora team, and the Ambyss venue were all so great it seemed a very fitting way to draw a line under the band after the loss of Michael. Putting the set together was the hard part, as it triggered so many memories of happy times we spent together, writing, recording, and gigging up and down the country. Playing the set was different in that it was much more joyful, and a great way to remember my friend. I'd like to thank the Ozora team for making it all possible."

This Sangoma episode features DAKSINAMURTI's Live Set 2022. Daksinamurti is a psychedelic trance artist, ethnologist, label manager and producer from Marburg, Germany. Together with his friend Emiel he founded and runs the label Sangoma Records. Till has been performing at events and festivals worldwide since the year 2000. Upon discovering Goatrance on the beaches of India in the early 90’s, Daksinamurti developed a diverse and insatiable thirst for studying the effects of psychedelic music on the body and mind. Combined with his passion of anthropology, his journey in music has been distinguished by his desire to discover and the depths of psychoacoustic application in music. About this set, Daksi says: "This mix was meant to be a showcase for my album but ended up as a mix of my contemporary music, music from my just released album and some sneak peaks of what is coming in the near future.
