I'm always amazed at the constant flow of musical ideas and themes and lyrics that God blesses me with. He has made it very clear to me if I am faithful to pursue being musical he will make sure the music will be there when I show up.  And it always is. This new album, "Writing In The Dirt", began as the last project was wrapping up 2 years ago. As I write songs I record them and when there is an albums worth of material finished I make it available.  My prayer is that it will bless you in some way.
I'd like to acknowledge a few people who helped me on the making of this. First, Jeff Goddard is always available with suggestions and feedback on the tracks. He also provided his classic Zion guitar for me to use on a few of the tracks. It's beautiful pristine sound is featured on the title track. My brother, Tony Carby, helped out with some shaker on some of the songs and also helped with suggestions during the mixing process.
God is the giver of gifts. It's up to us to use them in his service and for his glory. I hope and pray you'll do that in your life.
