Originally drafted as a trio and hailing from Haumoana, Mahora and Bridge Pa. Brute Force a simple mission statement... "Get Hawkes Bay bumping our music, and if they don't listen... take their attention by Brute Force!" and thus our name was breathed into existence. Using a mix of more aggressive, street style spitting for the verses and harmonic vocals for the hook this became our signature sound. Soon expanding to introduce 2 younger, hungry and supremely talented emcees and the baddest dj on the planet; our influence started to reach wider and once we combined with more of our hawkes bay brothers from the 0h6... well im sure most have heard the sound that resulted.
