BCCO Premiere: Vel - You Taste Like Zaatar [CJACT003]

he Berlin-based producer duo Kalte Liebe keeps drawing their inspiration from Post-Punk, Grunge, Dark Wave, EBM, and Techno.
Coming with years-long experiences in different musical projects ranging from beat-making over metal bands, and more they started back in 2019 using a drum machine, a bass synth, and a wasted microphone, only.

Authentically recorded in a 12 square meter room Kalte Liebe started out as an experiment combining diverse influences by the likes of DAF, Falco, Thomas P. Heckmann and more into their distinctively analog, raw, and bassline-driven style.

While their productions are mostly consisting of an elaborated mixture of EBM and old-school Dark Wave paired with technoid characteristics and captivating, roughly distorted vocals in German and English the duo equally stands for tool-ish and highly energetic Techno – modern, pounding, and dirty.

With recent releases on labels like 01010100 Records, Vitus Curse and BFT, even more strongly performing self-releases like „Ego EP“ and their recent work „Dopamin“ they are slowly establishing their name in the scene and quickly growing their audience. With loads of unreleased work and their Vocal Live Performance Kalte Liebe is soon to be heard all over.

When we asked Pegassi to make a mix for us, he said yes immediately. With more than 3 months to the deadline, he chilled. A little too much, and he missed the date.

Determined to get it done, Pegassi packed his DJ setup, took it on a flight to Berlin, and recorded the mixtape in his hotel room in one take before playing at a gig. BCCO Premiere: KUSS - Under Pressure [LIP012]

fumi is a Berlin-based American DJ and producer whose artistic journey has flourished in just two years. A resident of 240 KM/H and a member of Aurora Kollektiv, she draws inspiration from old-school sounds, particularly outside the realm of electronic music. Influenced by hip-hop, bossa nova, and jazz, fumi weaves these genres into her sets with ease. Her musical identity is rooted in driving, energetic grooves, but her style also incorporates bounce, trance, hard house, and acid. Known for quick mixing and original blends, every set is a unique experience.

This mix was recorded at fumi's childhood home, where she had to rely on simple equipment and focus on sharp track selection and creative blending with just two decks. The result is a groovy set that captures what she’s loving right now. For fumi, groove is where her soul finds peace, and playing a groovy set feels like pure music therapy.

Butschi is a Leipzig-based producer known for his love of emotional dance music and his role in shaping the new trance scene. Drawing inspiration from the 90s trance era, he brings nostalgic sounds into the present with his own modern edge.

While he’s released a steady stream of underground dancefloor tracks, he’s best known for his collaborations with close friends — blending personal, original vocals with trance rhythms and fast-paced electronic music rooted in classic songwriting. After finding his footing in the DJ world and on tour, 2025 marks a new chapter as he revives his discography with a wave of fresh releases.

SHDW presents ‘Federation Of Rytm IV’: a bumper 30-track collection spanning the past, present, and future of techno.

Offering powerful standalone club cuts and a cohesive deep-dive, the expansive VA lands on 24th October 2025. 

The fourth edition of SHDW’s flagship ‘Federation Of Rytm’ VA series has been carefully curated by the DJ/ producer and head honcho over more than a year, with close attention to detail given to sequencing. It is a balance of label regulars and debutants that represents the past, present, and future, both sonically and through the generational diversity of the artists involved. There are plenty of surprises along the way while always remaining true to the Mutual Rytm ethos and reflecting the journey of the night from start to finish, whether that's in intimate, sweaty clubs or on big festival stages.

"I’ve lived with most of these tracks for over a year, testing them on the dancefloor and fine-tuning the selection. Each comes from artists I deeply admire, making this compilation a snapshot of the label’s evolution and a glimpse of what’s next. ‘Federation Of Rytm IV’ celebrates connection across generations, while capturing the sounds that inspire me most — telling a story from start to finish.” – SHDW.

Across 30 tracks in the digital collection and 24 on four sides of wax, the release explores the full breadth of the Mutual Rytm sound. Driving grooves and relentless percussion set the pace, gradually unfolding into hypnotic and atmospheric passages that invite deeper immersion. Pulsating low-end power alternates with eerie minimalism, while bursts of futuristic energy and cavernous kick drums keep the tension high. Elsewhere, dub textures and moments of introspection provide balance, creating a narrative arc that moves fluidly between intensity and release, atmosphere and tension, darkness and light.

𝐎𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐮𝐬 is an Australian producer who, since relocating to 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧, has embraced techno not only as a key element of community and belonging but also as a 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐈𝐈𝐈 is an EP that draws inspiration from 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨 and 𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭.The objective of this EP was to combine his knowledge of 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 from producing dubstep while living in Sydney with techno fundamentals through the use of 𝟗𝟎𝟗 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬 and other textures found in modern groove techno.
The EP includes also a remix by 𝐉𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞, a French duo who previously released on AURA.

Architect is a Georgian DJ and producer focused on raw, underground techno. He started with a split EP on Synergie, followed by the Duplicity EP, which received support from international peers. In 2025 he released Resurrections on Drawner Records, further developing a deep, textured approach to techno. His sets emphasize solid basslines, layered atmospheres and driving rhythms, and he remains active in the underground scene.

PREMIERE: Boy In Nature – Recontruct The Crime [BCCOVA17]

TRIPTYKH is a Beatport chart-topping Hard Techno artist from the United States, known for a sound firmly rooted in Schranz. The project has gained recognition through key releases and performances across the U.S., Europe, China, and beyond. Notable shows include events with Agape, 6AM, Voxnox, and support for artists such as Klangkuenstler, 9x9, Fatima Hajji, and O.B.I.

The music focuses on hard-hitting tracks built for peak-time Hard Techno sets, with standout EPs “Unholy” and “Anomaly” on Klangkuenstler’s Outworld. Both EPs reached #1 on Beatport’s all-genre EP chart, with “Anomaly” dominating the Hard Techno Single Chart and “Bass Keeps Going” from “Unholy” reaching #2. Further releases span labels including 9x9’s Hidden Gems, Haku, Mad Made, Voidware, Nullselect, and others, with more records and an imprint on the way.

Recent years have marked a period of strong growth, with global tours and a wider international presence. Ongoing and upcoming dates across India, Australia, the United States, and Europe continue to build on that momentum. A distribution deal with Symphonic supports the next phase of releases.

SanderSweet is a Granada-based DJ who pushes techno and its sharp edges to their ignition point. Active since 2014, she has helped shape several local collectives and is one half of the duo 2Funk2Furious alongside DelaRave. Her sets are deeply rooted in club culture, celebrate queer spaces, and aim for a raw, physical connection with the dancefloor.

She has performed at Blackworks festival and venues like Industrial Copera, Sala Tren, MATADERO (Murcia), Sala MUV (Madrid), and New Faces at BASSEMENT (Madrid). Her trajectory includes appearances at El Sótano, Studio76, Grasa at Club Gordo (Valencia), Spook (Valencia), NO SLEEP (Seville), Sala X (Seville), Sala Fónica (Mallorca), and the P.l.a.t.a.t.o.n.i.c party in the Canary Islands. Internationally, she has played the Prisma afterparty at KitKat and Aeden in Berlin, further expanding within the European circuit.

This mix was recorded live in a living room setting, built around a selection of long-standing favorite tracks. It offers a direct glimpse into a dancefloor-focused side, imagining a shared night out with everyone listening. The selection reflects the sounds and styles that remain essential in every set.

LAMMER is steadily making his mark on Europe’s dance floors from his base in Rotterdam. His debut single “All Night” became a reliable club tool, supported by DJs like Job Jobse and Patrick Mason. With a raw blend of 90s rave, trance and house at the core of his sound, he continues to build on this early momentum.  

Known for long, high-energy sets, he regularly sells out his own nights, from extended sessions at Thuishaven to all-day events with Rotterdam Rave in Maassilo. That momentum is now carrying him across Europe, with clubs and festivals quickly picking up on his style. Closing Lowlands Festival this summer marked an important milestone in a breakthrough year, alongside the release of his first EP, “Highly Rogue”, and international shows lined up for 2026.  

This mix is built almost entirely from unreleased material, combining upcoming tracks with new music from close friends. It is recorded in one take on the home setup to capture the way the set is currently played in clubs. The result is a clear snapshot of where the sound is heading right now.

Gian-Andri Laux, a Swiss artist with Norwegian roots, has found a creative base in Berlin. Appearances at RSO Berlin, GOTEC Club Karlsruhe, Grelle Forelle Vienna, Lehmann Club Stuttgart, 240 KM/H, and Radio Rudina reflect a steady and ongoing presence in the electronic music landscape.

This set begins in a stripped-back, melodic space, echoing recent weeks shaped by lethargy and a gentle sadness. As it unfolds, the structure builds layer by layer, gradually raising the energy and sense of movement. Toward the end, the music opens into something brighter and more hopeful, carrying a quiet sense of renewal and the calm optimism of a new year.
